The Game(from The CW) by TBS, TVone or Lifetime or whatever. It needs to come back.
Another vote for Life on USA…or TBS…or anywhere really. I’ll watch it.
Couldn’t agree more about Kyle XY on Sci-Fi. However, I think Matt Dallas is already signed on to do “Eastwick” on ABC. I really don’t see that show lasting more than a season though, if that, with how cancel-crazy ABC has been lately
I’d like to see Sarah Connor Chronicles picked up by Sci Fi.
They left us with a huge cliffhanger and I cry, “NO FAIR!”
Kyle XY will do well on pretty much any network because it has such broad appeal and an incredibly loyal fanbase. The word-of-mouth and internet campaigns brought back viewers who had lost track of the show.
ABC Family walked away from it because it doesn’t appeal to the teenage girl demographic they’re looking to attract.
Kyle XY’s Adult/18-49 demographic numbers (averaging 1.3 million viewers for Season 3) are excellent for a show that was not promoted well, juggled around in the schedule, and only approved for ten/thirteen-episode seasons.
ABC Studios should find Kyle XY a new network, which is our goal at http://www.savekylexy.com
I’d love to see KYLE XY picked up by Sci Fi or any other network. This show deserves another season.
Kyle XY would do very well on Sci/Fi, or any other network for that matter. It did well on its original network despite the fact that ABCF did nothing to promote the show. Yet they canceled it because the viewers that tuned in for Kyle only watched Kyle and none of the other nonsense on that channel. I wish the campaign to “move the tub” to another network would succeed.
I agree… Life would be a perfect fit with Burn Notice on USA. That was one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. Pushing Daisies could be great anywhere, Samantha Who would definitley be good for Lifetime. SciFi for Eli Stone, TNT maybe (plus a return to the feel of season one), for Dirty Sexy Money. WE for Lipstick Jungle. Of course, NBC could afford to take any of those shows, once Leno fails.
RayT asks a valid question that should be addressed. Sometimes a show is cancelled for reasons other than viewer lack of interest. ABC Family, for example, mismanaged and mistreated Kyle XY from the start. They only approved short seasons at a time, there was usually a long hiatus between seasons (10 months!), limited if any promotion, etc. If an excellent program like this one was picked up quickly after cancellation and put on a more appropriate network that treated it right it may have a longer life. Many very good programs are killed off needlessly by network incompetence. The SyFy channel should have had programs like Kyle XY from the start. That said, SyFy..please pick up Kyle XY!!!
I’d love for SCI Fi to save “Reaper”. I didn’t see a single episode of season 2 because of how poorly scheduled it was (and because my wife deleted all the episodes from the DVR, starting a civil war of sorts when it came to deleting stuff…), and I really wanted this show to succeed.
Also, once Fox’s oddball hold on Firefly ends, that show could also find a new life on Sci Fi.
Somebody please save Pushing Daisies. Sci-Fi or USA seem to be the most compatible, but I can’t bear to think Saturday’s episode is the last one. It automatically has five million dedicated fans. Isn’t that more than any cable network to date?
Life would be great on USA–Charlie Crews is very Monk-ish in his own way.
Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone would be great on A&E…back when they showed programs that might be considered art and/or entertainment. (Okay, I’ve only heard rumors. I haven’t had any personal experience in that area.)
I don’t get SciFi (or SyFy, or Syphy, whatever they’re calling themselves now)–I know, my cable company is somewhat backward–but if Reaper and The Middleman (and heck, Moonlight) were on the channel, I would have a chance to see more.
SyFy should take Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. SyFy should bring back The Dresden Files, too.
Those two shows with Caprica would make for a great night for Television.
Life would do much better on USA it was a great show
