Natalie did fall apart during her performance, but her practice session with Brandon looked great. I would have liked to see if she had not done great before then. She was nowhere near as cute as Katee, so casting might have let her go for that reason, too.
Last year I was disappointed that Evan was not through and Brandon, too. I’m not really disappointed this year.
Natalie was sooo robbed, but I think they are just setting up something for next season. Ryan should have had Tony’s spot.

What I don’t understand is why was she just cut and not given a chance to “dance for her life” as some of the other contestants that did not perform up to par? She may not have been as strong as she was in the practice session, but she should have been given the same second chance as some of the others. She would have made it. AND WHAT IS MIA’S problem with Brandon, the man killed it in everything!
1) Natalie’s cut seemed oddly abrupt — and yes, she was robbed. She didn’t even have a chance to “dance for her life?” Or was it just a case of REALLY BAD EDITING??

Yoli – Mia was the same way with Danny. I think if they don’t visibly bow to the “genius” of Mia, she thinks they have an attitude problem.
If you can’t get it to load with Internet Explorer, try Firefox. That fixed the problem for me!
Lythgoe should fire Mia Michaels and set an example. There is a huge difference between tough love and a nasty, bitter hater. Her Emmy went to her head. Her head in turn shoved itself in her a$$.
She was robbed! She seemed to be cut very rashly when other dancers got 2nd and 3rd chances…..i still don’t understand it. Her example with Brandon was so good, it was weird that the actual choreography performance was weak. BUT i still think she should have gotten through. she’s awesome!

Natalie Reid robbed, I don’t think so. I never cared for her dancing. Looks like she is a having a seizure – and I love contemporary dancing. The one I feel for is the Asian ballet dancer. His dancing was beautiful. And why is Mia and Lil’ C being so hard on Brandon? I hope Mia is busting Brandon chops because she has a brilliant routine on the horizon for him.
I am totally lovin’ a gal from Aurora, CO, blonde Kaylee? I think is her name. She is very amazing! I hope she goes far. I too am not impressed with Mia’s critiques. She pretty much just says I don’t like your dancing, and gives no helpful critism at all.
WE were all robbed since we had to listen to Mia’s bitter, jealous comments instead of a supportive honest judge.

Yes, Natalie, I believe, was robbed. I would’ve thought, since others less talented were allowed to do so, that she would have been asked to dance for her life. I usually agree with the judges. So far this season, I find myself shocked by their opinions. Admitedly, I don’t know much about dance, but I can tell when somebody is giving their all.
Oh, and I kind of agree with Mia and Lil C on their opinions of Brandon. He’s got talent for sure, but I feel absolutely nothing when he’s on stage. And, yeah, Mia may have an ego now…but I can’t imagine the show without her choreography. Hers are the routines I look forward to watching the most.

Too much dancing was trying to be shown in one episode. They should have stretched Vegas week out to four episodes. There was more than enough material to cover the time. And I agree with another poster that maybe bad editing played a part in Natalie’s abrupt departure.
Worked fine for me today, maybe the bug has been fixed.
Have to disagree with one thing you said Dalton, I loved Hairspray! But will acknowledge that John Travolta was really distracting and my least favorite part. I still think it’s a good movie though.
I usually like Mia Michaels, think that she’s gotten too big for her britches this year. I HATED her during auditions. I hope that we see more Mia the Choreographer and less Mia the Judge.
