'The Next Food Network Star' premiere: Who are you rooting for?

Oh, Paul I couldn’t have said it better. Hooray for Slezak, Ugh to Brett. Eddie? Teddy? Which one is which? I love this show which brought us Guy Fieri.
Yeah Slezak!! Thank you for mentioning a Food Network show. Maybe a regular Popwatch?? I like the dietician.
I love Guy and agree that he could bring a lot of personality and fun energy to the show. He reminded me of Guy Fieri, to the point that I blurted out to my husband, “He’s Gay Fieri!”
Oops…confused myself…I meant I love Michael — aka Gay Fieri.
The stars of the next Food Network Star are a hoot. After watching other years, I wonder where they found a few of this year’s people. I’d like to know more about what the selection committee is looking for because I still think they missed it by not picking Kelsey last year. Had Eddie helped Melissa and shown that he knew how to teach people to cook, maybe he would have stayed and Teddy been removed from the kitchen. Who would have thought a cooking show coule be so much fun. May the next star win.
Last night was Michael’s last night. Although I really liked him and I think in time he could have done an entertaining show, it was time for him to go. So far I have agreed each week and for basically the same reasons and how unusual is that! Now with that having been said, I was very disappointed in Debbie for pulling a Teddy and taking credit for things she did not do. She did the ultimate “throwing under the bus” move: she let everyone else bust their rear ends while she just concentrated on making herself look good. Finally, a reality show that goes by what happens that we see and the judges “don’t.” Bottom line, I don’t want Debbie to win. I wouldn’t watch her show ever just on principal. Seems she learned her moves from Teddy and see where it got him!
I think Melissa will win. I do like Jefferey too, but Melissa would be a better “Star”. Upbeat, good cook, teacher, etc.
