Ridiculous.
at least the date stamp isn’t an hour off . . .
I read the new five page column earlier tonight with in-depth explanations of his 4 theories and his odds…and now it’s gone. I even wrote comments (there were about 10) and went back to re-read the column after cooking and cleaning my kitchen and it’s gone. Can’t find it anywhere. It may not be DUE out until Monday. But posting and then UNPOSTING it is just not COOL! I LOVE Doc Jensen and never thought I’d say this…but after reading the CRAPPY scenarios he posed (not taking into account all the real mysteries and info Darlton already gave us), he has posted spoilers in a spoiler free site, and now the UNPOST. I’m done with this BS.
Hey, what happened to last night’s post? – I posted the first 2 out of 3 comments and now it’s gone. It was an unsatisfying 5-pager after blowing us off for weeks, not to mention his weekly post-show column was usually 6-7 pages. I love your column, Doc – it is part of my “Lost” viewing experience. Maybe you are busy with the project re: your dad, but you do have fans who love your weekly insight and crazy ideas. Just not this time.
PS – Did anyone else notice that the post last night had no date/time stamp, and you could not get to it from the EW main page. Nothing advertising its release. As Bugs would say…eh, what’s up, Doc?
There is a “mini Doc Jensen” posting under Popwatch (or do a general site search for LOST) that is now promising the column on Monday. It was posted last night and has links to a couple of outside articles.
this is getting borderline ridiculous. stringing us out for over a month for a five page column? then retracting it off the site to boost site traffic for ew.com. totally lost had no insight on the show whatsoever, i actually found myself skipping parts trying to find something relevant…but to no avail.
all i can say is that i love LOST and doc jenson’s columns, but this is pretty bush league
That is a super good question, BRinMilwaukee! Why was not-Locke (UnLocke?) surprised at where Jacob would be found? It didn’t seem like an act….. HM. Also, one would think that Richard Alpert is an “ancient one” who knows the ways of Jacob and MIB and would be wary of someone looking or acting “different….”
Just been reading the various comments across all the Lost articles and can’t believe we won’t get Libby’s backstory. PLEASE tell me that isn’t true!!
This may be old news but what do you think Doctor J.? Four Loves…Four Toes….ehh. ehhh.
My theory is that John Locke’s body was actually inhabited by the Man in Black at many points throughout the show, not just recently in season 5 after he was dead…in watching past seasons, it seems that at certain times, JL has a strange manner about him or an unusual response to whatever is happening, and a glint in his eye that make me think it’s actually the MIB “possessing” him. Also these times always seem to be when JL is near some kind of fire…bonfire, torches, etc…anyone have thoughts on this?>
