It's been more than six years since Whitney Houston debuted an album– a lifetime, really, for the brilliant vocalist who has since starred in a train-wreck reality show with her now ex-husband Bobby Brown, and has battled rumors of drug addiction. Rolling Stone.com has reported that her new venture, which Arista Records still has not titled, will be released on Sept. 1 and will feature collaborations with artists such as R.Kelly, Diane Warren, David Foster, Swiss Beatz and Akon. I, for one, hope the wait is worth it. Houston is still revered for the soaring heights she took her voice with classics such as The Greatest Love of All, Saving All My Love and How Will I Know. Can't you just hear Simon Cowell's oft-used quote: "That was No Whitney Houston"? It would be a shame for her legacy to end with Being Bobby Brown. What do you think Pop Watchers? I want the Whitney who was ‘professional and a great singer’ back-
not the trash talking ‘attitude lady’ she became in the 90′s.
OMG! YEY! ive been sooooo excited and erady for this, ever since it was “suppose” to be out even like…last year, and since like i never left was leaked online. i can’t wait. now, if its not AS amazing, thats not a horrid thing. but i hope that she will be able to totally blow everyone away. i have faith! LOVE YA WHITNEY!
Mariah Carey was put in the same catergory as Whitney as washed up even with the news about her and wierd moments captured and played over and over again. She came back and the top selling album in 2005. Whitney will do the same thing and make a big comeback. She is a voice to be reckoned with.

There’s only one Whitney. This woman is a LEGEND. Her story has been a tragic one in recent years, but we ’bout to see the PHOENIX RISE from the ashes!
I am rooting for her. I am not going to lie, I don’t have high hopes (her voice has not sounded too great as of late), but I love Whitney and I want her to release a great CD. MTV announced earlier this week that Mariah is releasing her CD Sept 22, let’s hope Whitney can get a single out first, because Mariah is undoubtedly going to shoot straight to #1 (I love her too!)
All Hail the Queen! Whitney Houston you are undoubtedly the greatest voice that has ever been and always will be. Although as of lately her high notes seem to be few, her tone alone could rock us all to sleep. The girl is bad and untouchable. Welcome back Whitney. Sept 1, 2009 Finally Whitney Again.
