Technically, I'm not lusting after Taylor Lautner, but when I thought about blogging the following bicep-infused video from the set of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and tagging it with our "Sexytimes" category for all of you, I did feel a pang of guilt. He's only 17. But then, didn't we — and by that I mean I — launch our "Inappropriate Crushes" category with a post on Daniel Radcliffe when he was exactly that age? Why is the guilt greater with Lautner? Because he's not British, and the accent seems like it adds a few years? Or maybe it is the same and we're just as gross now as we were then. Discuss.

I think there’s a correlation between the absolute attractiveness of the person in question and our relative guilt over sexytime feelings. Radcliffe is cute, but Lautner is hot.
Dan has seemed older for some time since he’s been basically raised by the English acting elite and very intelligent parents. He also has the lovely manners and intelligence of someone much older and eyes that seem as if they’ve been through a few lifetimes so it’s understandable that you’d feel more creeped out by just the shirtless image of Taylor than you did by the even more revealing images of Dan. Dan also had far more authentic reasons for his exposure than to just sex up the next Twilight. His nudity had far more to do with the character and was needed as part of the storyline where this seems to be just beefcake – no offense to Taylor – he seems a lovely lad – but I’ll take Dan anyday!
I have been having a tough time with this one. I’ve been trying to banish the NAUGHTY thoughts I’ve been having about Taylor, with no success. 17 is the age of consent where I live (in the extremely unlikely event that I manage to bump into Taylor and seduce him), but dude was born in 1992! It just feels wrong. Which makes it all the more tempting…

Taylor may be hot, but I prefer Daniel, because anyone involved with HP is automatically more lust-worthy than anyone involved with the puerile garbage that is Twilight. Seriously, if I get one more copy of EW with effing Twilight on the cover I’m cancelling my sunscription.

I just lust in my heart over the lastest hot boy/man in a movie/tv show/band and don’t worry about it. It’s not like it’s the neighbors poolboy. The studios and media (EW) are promoting big time.
I am so glad EW is giving some props to Taylor. There are about five different articles done on Rob a day. But for those of you who know nothing about Twilight, New Moon is Jacob’s movie, not Edward’s. So I am looking forward to Taylor getting some screen time and getting some more props for his hard work to muscle up.
And Kate, in the book, Jacob is shirtless a lot, which would explain the naked shot of him in the trailer. And he deserves the attention because he worked incredibly hard for it.
Heather – I never said he didn’t deserve the attention – and it’s obvious the boy works out hard – not denying that. I’m just saying it’s why she feels creepier for lusting over him than Dan – because he seems younger than Dan did at the same age (maybe that’s me) and of course certainly now. Honestly I wouldn’t kick either of them out for leaving crumbs (I know my preference though). I’m not going to waste time feeling creepy or guilty over it since it’s highly unlikely that opportunity would ever present itself!
Taylor still has his babyfat. He may be ripped, but he still has the bambi look. Very cute, but most over 30 aren’t going to look twice.
