I was somewhat obsessed with Man vs. Wild when I discovered it a couple of years ago. As the stories of things in reality being not quite as they are presented on the show surfaced, I was starting ot get a little tired of it. I have 2-3 episodes from the past season on DVR that I haven’t been motivated to watch.
This episode was great though! Don’t get me wrong, I like Bear (even as a heterosexual male) but the presence Ferrell injected with his humor – and even with his subtle fear in the dangerous situations like most of us viewers would have – really livened up the show. Bear and Will had great chemistry and it really brought out the best of Bear’s personality.
Any chance we could get a permanent “Two Men vs. Wild?” Better than the “Man vs. Bowels” that Will suggested.

I know that this wasn’t 100 percent real, and that is fine, bottom line is hollywood would never let one of their money makers put himself in extreme danger……but this episode was done well….I think everyone knows(as per bear himself) that his show is to show you how to survive…I hope this trend keeps going with bringing stars out into the wild…great show.

Awsome show, realy took things to a whole other level. Funny, excieting, and the odd couple aspect worked. Bear is a great presonality and will made it so much more excieting, we could all live vicarously through will. Great job.
