What’s her damage, Heather?
Seriously, they *cannot* make a sequel to this film. It won’t work!
Christian Slater’s character blew up!
Even if he came back as some sort of Obi-Wan ghost-like sage to give Winona advice – his ghost would look like a 40-year old Christian Slater…which is not a pretty sight – nor would it make any sense as to why his ghost was able to age…
Also, what would be the point?!
The whole film was a clever satire poking fun at “teenage-suicide- masquerading-as-a-new-wacko-peer-pressure-way-to-fit-in”, so what would Veronica’s damage be this time, early-mid-life-crisis-secretary-office-mass-murder-suicide-pact?
I just don’t see how this wouldn’t tarnish the cult classic reputation the original (and should stay that way) so rightly deserves to keep!
And we all know they’ll never be able to top a messed up dark comedic line like, “I love my Dead Gay Son!”
Classic.
Don’t mess with the classics!

Did anyone see the Lost Boys sequel?
I did. And that’s a moment of my life I wish I could get the hell back again.
I agree with the other comment. Don’t mess with the classics!!!!
BUT
IF YOU DO…
DO IT RIGHT FOR GOD’s SAKE!
I hope they don’t screw this up!!!! Because it does have potential to be something great…. but it also could be a TRAINWRECK.
sigh.
This just isn’t going to work.
I love Heathers to death, but I don’t want to see a sequel! Keep our memories of Heathers how they are, and we’ll be fine. Watch, then there would be a ton of 10 year olds that “fall in love” with Heathers, just like they all did with Twilight when it came out on movie(anyone know what I’m talking about?). Aye yie yie, Heathers 2 is a bad idea.
I always thought that Heathers 2 done in the world of big business, with veronica as an office worker trying to fit in with the new click, i.e. the heathers who rule the company and do terrible things to their rivals, wall street style, could really be good. With make-up and a black hair dye job, Christian Slater would still look the part, in a wacky dream sequence kind of way, but also there would be a new crush for Veronica, a different character with similar psychotic intentions. Its waaaaay doable!.
[...] Heathers into a weekly series. As bad ideas go, this beats Winona Ryder’s addled suggestion that a Heathers sequel was in the works, because Heathers was a marvelously self-contained little piece of black comedy. [...]
I’m 50/50 on this. I doubt Veronica and JD would be the ones who were still killing people off. I could see it more of Veronica having a kid, possibly JD’s because the did have sex, and the kid taking on JD’s old homicidal habits. But that’s just me. Idk if anyone else thought of it like that. Like I said, I’m 50/50 on a sequal. Classics never have good sequals, but I’d still see it just because.
I know some of the people who were principal crew members – editors, etc. on the original “Heathers” – and Winona just loves the idea of a sequel – but NO ONE else cares about it – they’re NOT doing it! What would they do anyway?
i heard he is pnlinnag to do a kill bill volume 3 set 10 years after the events of kill bill 2 but he will try and release somewhere in 2014, presumably so he can use all the original actors without having to age them artificially, but also that he will be doing a project between then and now personally i would like to see a western

Don’t you wish she do something good instead – like a grisham?
