Does noone think this is just stupid? Sony already made the Eye-toy which was fairly similar and, well, sucked. Milo is made by Peter Molyneux, so it will be nowhere as great as the hype suggests. Hundreds of people will swear at the screen and box as the system fails to register their movements and their character takes an abrupt stop at jagged rock country. I prefer to have a controller in my hand rather than waving at a box, at least then I know it at least tried before chucking me down the bottomless pit. All in all, it will fail and be forgotten as a little experiment that never worked, meanwhile Microsoft will get a little richer off all who bought it.

To microsoft, it is about money. To the US gov't., it is about control. We are coming to a scary time in the "technology race" we are finding ourselves in today. Our country - and our government - is not free from corruption. It is supremely ignorant to suspect that it is, and equally ignorant to brush things like these aside, or even lower yourself to buying this piece of equipment. When we are offered this type of technology, the motives do not even have any need of importance. What is important is that to accept this technology into your home, you are allowing something into your home that has the potential to have a very negative impact on our government-society balance.

I can't help but feel that this new piece of technology is a bit reminiscent of the two-way video monitoring systems in 1984 by George Orwell. In a time when the government is capable of turning on the microphones of powered-down cell phones, I feel extremely uncomfortable transmitting from a two-way video link established within my home. Much less, one produced by possibly the most powerful technology company in the country, not to mention the world. It is no secret, judging from the number of government contracts between the two, that Microsoft / Dell have their hands in the government's pockets. They are on the government's payroll, and it is not a stretch to think that Microsoft would be THE company to execute a "war" on the public's privacy at the will of the government. When money is the issue, technology is available, and the public is stupid enough to hand over their privacy in such a way (YouTube, etc), the people will be the ones to suffer. To microsoft, it is about mon

To get to the point, Project Natal is a game changer. The voice and face reconition is extraordinary and ahead of what everyone else is doing in gaming. The responsiveness is mind blowing alone with Milo. What we are seeing here is more than gaming but the future of home entertainment. Do any one get the feeling that Sony brought their motion controllers out before they wanted to because of Natal. Their presentation was so not rehearsed and they were not evan set up for it. Sony felt the pressure and brought it (like the presenter said) in "prototype" form. I just hope it is as flawless or close to it as the demo. I really see this as Xbox 720, next Gen sh*t.

To JPW.
Saying that Microsoft is inferior is a terrible statement. It's true that Nintendo is a successful company as well. BUT let's not forget the failed consoles and games that Nintendo had. Especially that excuse of a console, Gamecube.
You can't deny that Microsofts Xbox has flourished in all of it's years, and has forced Sony and Nintendo to compete with their own "creative" systems. But let's look at the facts, the only thing that Sony really offers, is a free online experience, and a poor one. The only thing that Nintendo really offers, is an interactive experience, and a poor one. Where Wii lacks graphics, Playstation lacks game titles.
If Xbox introduces interactivity with Natal, then Wii will pretty much be blown out of the water, seeing as it is a "fuller" experience.
The only thing left then is to somehow counter Sony, which they will...
In general.
More gamers = more money = higher budget = better games. So Xbox fans, don't say it's a bad idea. I for one, want it.
