Yes Wes stood out to me in the beginning, but not for long…aside from how the show portrays him. Jillian…take the blinders off. You may think Wes is a keeper, but I think you are failing to see that he’s really a dull stone when it comes to personality & depth of feelings. Don’t let his lyrics fool you. Stop to read his body language. You are way more of a person than he is. He’s not a very cheerful person…barely ever smiles. Yes, he’s pretty goodlooking, a bad boy vibe, but so was was my X-husband….that’s why he’s an X! Don’t let his looks fool you into overlooking what’s deeper within the person. He’s not very attractive on a deeper level. (Jillian..I learned the hard way…don’t make the same mistake I did years back.) Jillian…hello??? Wes is not very affectionate to anyone in his life. Watch his interaction with his family. He’s not what you would enjoy long-term. Jillian, you are very sweet & Wes would be a dead weight in your life. Give him the boot.

Someone should break that guy’s guitar then rip out his voice box. That’s saying a lot coming from me. I, too, have a weak spot for country singers. When I first saw him and heard his Texan accent (YUM!!) I fell in lust. Then I heard him sing and play guitar and I decided I wanted him to win (I know it’s sad. I saw the guy for like 5 minutes and thought he should win). That lasted for about seven seconds cause then he started actually speaking and being a jerk. I’m honestly sad for Jillian. She has no idea and no one will tell her. I don’t know how you bite your tongue! Kudos!
It’s sad to see him be so rude, because that accent of his just makes my heart flutter!

ok, to answer your question im getting so fed up with wes and his stupid song. i guess if i were jillian i might like it too…. but UGH the same verse over and over gets a little tiring.
im usually pretty open to all the bachelors on this show, like i didnt even have a huge problem with dave. but wes drives me crazy!!
i usually try to give these guys the benefit of the doubt when it comes to if they are here for the right reasons, but i cant help feeling like wes is fake, and either has a gf or wants to promote his music.
I FREAKING HATE HIM like you dont even understand i go to google images, print pics out of him, draw big fat X’s on his face and then hang them all over my house. GRR. see what your show has done to me?!
hahah, i’ll be watching tonite (pleeeeease go home wes!!)

My university just finished finals this week, but after my oral exams (whew!), my honors History & Religion in Social Contexts class met in the history library for a wrap-up discussion. While waiting for the religion professor to arrive, my class and our history professor carried on a light conversation. Somehow, I half jokingly/half sarcastically made reference to the Bachelorette and how I was sure our prof just “loved” reality TV (this man is a brilliant historian – not really the type). My classmates were already laughing when he chuckled and told us he’d watched the Bachelorette Monday night. I could not have been more surprised! He said he watches it about once a season. However, he did remark that he always finds it comical that never once is there any conversation about philosophy, religion, or politics – yet, everyone says they have such a strong ‘connection’. Over what? We truly hope these scenes are edited out, but if not, what connection???

Rockin blog Chris! Jillian is the best bachelorette ever, she has so much going for her. Pleeease show more of Michael the breakdancer. How cool is that dude. He’s seriously the life of the party and is always so chill and positive. Not sure if he’ll go all the way.. perhaps Jake/Ed/Kiptyn? Can’t wait to read the next blog!

I liked Juan. I thought he had a lot of class. I am just finding out now that his father was a well-known actor out of Argentina. He made a ton of films. Barbieri is an Italian name but a lot of Italians settled in Argentina so that explains that. I read on the net that there are pictures of Juan with well-known actresses. In any case, I think Jillian discounted someone who might have had a lot to offer.

Episode 4 – whew – Dave and Juan are gone! Don’t you just love it when the jilted one says ‘she made a big mistake?’ is it fragile ego’s or a deluded sense of self? Here’s a news flash – she’s just not that into you! She obviously had to give Tanner a rose to get the information she needs! I just hope she doesn’t try to bribe him with her feet! the quirkiest guy has the most backbone? odd…Poor Jake is too perfect? I hope she doesn’t think that Kyp is too perfect as well? Hope Wes enjoys his last moments on the show he seems lost without his guitar…to the comment that thinks he is a young George Strait? good grief Wes isn’t even in the same planetary system as George.
