Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart unveiled the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night. Lautner, who plays Jacob, may have lost the award for male breakthrough performance to Pattinson earlier in the evening, but after seeing his ripped upperbody, we’re hoping he can be nominated again next year.What did you think of the sneak peek? Bella’s birthday party was mildly underwhelming. The wolf Jacob turned into was…cuddlier than expected.

They are rushing the hell out of this movie. I can’t believe they are showing clips when they aren’t even done with preliminary footage.
And the CG looked like hell.
Wow. I’ve seen better acting on Lifetime. Such a forced chemistry.
Underwhelmed. Oh well…
I’m hoping it gets better before the release..better editing and CGI. It didn’t seem like a real trailer, just a collection of clips that were “ready to show”. But damn that footage actually makes me think about switching to team Jacob! Must go back to look a RPs Italy pics and make things right with the world again.

I agree it was disappointing in many ways, but seeing the wolf was an incredible surprise. Now that I’ve seen it again, I see why Catherine Hardwick thought the budget was too low for this movie. I hope it is better overall.
It was better than even though that’s not how the scene with jacob really happened it was still really good can’t wait for more.
I don’t get Summit’s need to rush these trailers out. For goodness sake, at least take enough time to make it look good. The acting is still terrible, and the CG looked like a cartoon.
I’m sorry, but that was awful. Pattinson was way too forced, Stewart still looks and acts like a wooden stick, the birthday scene with Jasper was so overly melodramatic it was hilarious, and the wolf was AWFUL. The big excuse for the awful effects in the first was a lack of funding. So what’s the excuse this time?
The cinematography is better and Lautner looks amazing, but I AM NOT DAZZLED.
I thought it was AMAZING! It actually looked like a real movie. And the wolf thing rocked. Just like I pictured it in the book. Favorite part of the clip. Well, that and Edward’s swagger in that suit. HOT!
How can ANYONE look at that wolf and think it looks good? They’d have been better off hiding the terrible CGI until people were actually in the theater.
I was miffed that the HBP clip was a repeat of the teaser trailer, but I think if they’d shown anything new, it’d have upstaged New Moon, and that’s a no no. *rolls eyes*
