Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint introduced a new clip from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards. With it, we, like Harry, get to experience the first time Dumbledore met Tom Riddle (a.k.a. a young Lord Voldemort). Is Tom’s smile creepy enough for you? Part of me wants more. Part of me is already curled up in a ball…

I’m not sure Tom’s smile was creepy enough, but it may be more convincing on a big movie screen.
I wanted to say I kinda liked how they translated the Pensieve to film, to do it exactly and have them ‘fall in’ would take up excess screen time for each memory… Plus the underwater effect worked for me, different but still dream-like and convincing.
the smile alone didn’t creep me out, but the effect sure brings a lot of excitement
just can’t wait for the cave, Katie Bell and Malfoy scenes
This is not a new clip. I saw it months ago.
I loved it!! I love how they depicted the way the pensieve works.
looks amazing

It’s a great clip, but NOT new. In fact, it’s really just a quick rehash of the teaser trailer from last year.
I guess we couldn’t have Quidditch or an action scene, though. They were probably contractually obligated not to upstage Twilight.
Someday, Popwatch will post a link that those of us outside the US can actually watch. Sigh.
“Sorry, we’re unable to offer this video to users in your region.”
Awesome! Thanks for screwing the 6 billion people who don’t live in the U.S.A.
EW should add a “For Americans Only” warning to the headlines of stories that are useless to everyone in the world who lives outside of the U.S.
There’s too much of this crap on EW.com.

Now, was that so hard, EW?
The set up in the article was too much, I guess. No, I in no way found that smile creepy. Still, a good clip though.
And to all of you who whine on and on about not being able to see clips because you’re not in the US – you really need to let that go. It doesn’t just happen to you. There are clips all over the BBC website that I would like to see regarding their programming but every time I click on them it says “Sorry, this clip is not available in your area”. So relax, it happens to people in the US as well.
And you enjoy being unable to watch BBC clips on the WORLD WIDE web? Didn’t think so…
Young Tom Riddle is creepy, but it’s not really anything to do with the smile. Great clip, even though it’s something most fans have seen before. I’d rather watch Gambon than the Pixar-reject werewolf.
And to non-U.S. fans, the clip is on YouTube if you want to watch it there.
LOL. Well, I wouldn’t say that I enjoy it but I get over it and go to YouTube for the clips. Some people get upset over the slightest things. Life is too short people.
