Dear Chris,
I so don’t care that you don’t agree with homosexuals. My goodness, please get off your high horse. Do I care what you do in your bedroom? You shouldn’t either. I can say that I don’t agree with straights and their hypocrisy…paging South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford. Born again and yapping about religion everytime he opened his mouth, especially in his calling on Clinton to resign, you’d have expected him to be the Pope’s second in command. But lo and behold, he’s like a political Fabio who dissed his own family on Father’s day (!!!) weekend to stump his mistress in another country. He’s quoted as saying he wants to fall in love again with his wife (WTF??) So, please don’t moralize that you disagree over someone elses lifestyle. Adam and Michael just talked about how those pictures were ‘embarrassing’ to O’Reilly…which in a way is quite funny since those infamous emails that surfaced from Bill a few years ago certainly didn’t harm his career.

It should call AT & T Idol, not American Idol. If we don’t have AT&T cells then we got screwed. I understand it is the big sponsor but is this representing the public? Some of us tried 10 minutes to call in and some power text 1000s in a few minutes. That’s why Chris is AT&T idol. Don’t get me wrong, he is adorable but who has bigger talent? This is not a popularity show. Oh, may be I was wrong it is a show for American Corp controlled polpularity contest/or cheating contest by powerful enterprise employees.

@Hi Schooler: ‘Sal good in Europe. Why must America still be hindered by the ideas of it’s Puritan fathers? *eyeroll* Notice how FRANCE seems to be doing fine in these hard economic times? Maybe America should follow their lead, they had the right idea when the U.S. struggled to have a successful Harlem Renaissance. *okay I admit that was totally irrelevant* But if you would consider your school elite do to the disrespect of emotions other than fear of punishment, than you have some serious issues. >>;

I watched the entire segment. @.@ I’m astounded that he could think gay rights activists are imposing on the first amendment of conservatives–like woah, what? It’s just as much their right to call you a homophobe as it is yours to call them zealots. xD You have the right to speak freely without fear of–from the government only, Bill. xV Add the constitution to your reading list please. >>;

As usual the people talking such trash and smak about Bill O or any other conservitave person never actually watch the show or know what was said. Oreily said nothing negative about Adam lambert and more was made of his sexuality on this and other blogs than any of the conservative shows. For people who are suposed to be tolerant and openend minded you sure are closed minded. And yes I watched Idol every week and Idolatry every week and love both. I do not agree with Homosexuals but that had nothing to do with IDOL and who won .

I watch Bill O’Reilly all the time and to be completely honest, he doesn’t get a fair shake. I’ve seen a few of his segments on Adam Lambert and he has always been open-minded and objective. He fully admits he does not watch AI but always has analysts who are viewers to respond to any controversy questions that he has about the show (Christian vs non-Christian vote, the kissing photos, etc). I agree with the blogger above that stated that essentially anything O’Reilly does is going to be hated by young liberals. In reality, he is fair and he stated two months ago that if Adam is the most talented, he should win Idol regardless of questionable sexuality. I take real issue with those who despise O’Reilly’s viewpoints and attack him when it’s obvious they don’t regularly watch his show because of said hatred. Personally, I find him much more objective than Hannity, Beck, Olberman and Chris Matthews. If people watched once in awhile, rather than assume, they’d see that.

Michael I loved your interview – you make contestants seem so comfortable, a rare interview quality I have not seen since Rosie had her show – you are amazing. Here is my beef with you. I went to high school with Nick Mitchell and he truly is a born entertainer, and you never liked him or gave him any credit. The dude can sing and work on audience like no other, okay maybe Bette Midler, maybe not like Adam but the boy got skills – I was in GREASE with him senior year and I put up the video. I think you would like it – you actually remind me of him / not”norman” actually nick. Thanks for all the good idol coverage, when you said “the wildcard episode was like taking a dump in a nice bath” made me fall of my out of my chair. You are hilarious.

I loved the interview! To Slezak you just went up in huge street cred to me. I had no idea you were a real report and did such great interviews. I liked that it was not in your office and that it was at a relaxed bar scene. I presume in your mind you were trying to create a welcome home we are just two guys chatting it up feel. I believe you were secretly trying to get Adam to drop his guard and be more Adam. But what you got was this really smart and really great guy telling you like it is. He isn’t that serious about himself, he really didn’t appear to be out to win this contest and as a “nice guy” he went out and tried to help as many of the other contestants that he could. I mean when Kris Allen sang the Heartless song (A song that Adam told Kris if he did it would be brilliant) well that is what saved Kris Allen. COME ON! Did Adam unknowingly hand Kris Allen the title due to the help he gave him on that song and if so…he really doesn’t seem phased by it. He is too good
