You’ve all had a lot to say about my colleague Adam Markovitz’s post from yesterday concerning Adam Lambert’s sexuality. Read the full post.

Anyone who watched his Idolitry interview should do so. He’s answered that question.
I personally think it is completely inappropriate for Kara to have discussed this on national television. It’s not her place to “out” Adam. That decision must come from one person only…and that person is Adam.
Are we still talking about this? who cares if some guy is gay or not from some reality tv show americans invest way too much interest in. For F***s sake people there are wars going on in the middle east, North Korea is threatening war, Iran and Israel are almost at war as well and you people put this story in the top 5 popularity on google news over world conflict? God no wonder people hate americans. People’s priorities are way out of wack.
have you people at EW even watched the entire interview??? seriously. it was barbara who keep insisting that kara answer the question, over and over. kara’s response was very appropriate and shouldnt be taken out of context. great reporting EW, way to flame the fire. (eyes rolling).
i love paula
I’ve been out for what seems like most of my life and I have to say the “is he gay or not” BS is silly. I hate the question too. In fact I don’t usually say yes or no.. I simply talk about my parter, and my life as it is. “Out or not” is not part of the conversation. People realize I am gay through the conversation but it IS NOT WHAT SHOULD DEFINE ME. This convo reminds me of white people who alway have to describe their black friends a black first.. rather than funny, interesting, or talented. No first they are black. Are you kidding me?? No one should have to be defined by sexuality or race. It is annoying to be defined by such supperficial things. We should be defined by the content of our characture, our tallents, and charming personalities.
I’m so unbelievably sick of EVERYONE in the known world “speculating” or asking him outright about his sexuality. WHY DOES IT MATTER?! The only reason he’s being coy about it is because he thinks it’s funny that everyone cares so much if he’s gay or not. It sickens me that people still treat homosexuality as some sort of sideshow, not to mention that they’re still asking him about it. I look forward to the day where it doesn’t f***ing matter what the hell orientation you are. Oh and BTW, there are pictures all over the internet of him kissing guys and dressed in drag. Call me crazy but I think it’s safe to just make assumptions in this case.
Stop talking about Adam’s sexuality pronto!!!!! Nobody cares, he is an amazing artist. Let’s just be happy with that.
I’m sick and tired of this BS.
Who care, who cares, who cares, who cares, who cares… Out, not out, in, up, sideways… Adam has every right to be whatever he wants to be, whenever he wants to be it, so Kara, Adam Markovitz and all these other folks who feel it’s necessary to care about how Adam lives his life need to take a good, hard look at their own. Sheesh!
The only way this story will EVER be interesting is if Adam Lambert came out as straight.
i hope next year they go back to Paula Simon Randy. Idol dont need this new chick. she got her chance- she did Not boost ratings. now its time to go back to the original 3!
1. F–K Kara DioGuardi – it’s none of her business. What a cow.
2. Of course he’s gay!!!!!!! Duh!!!
3. Who cares? What year is this?
Yeah, I’m pretty sure that he’s out. And I think he’s trying to make a point that it doesn’t matter. Maybe he’s going about it the right way, maybe not. I don’t think a single person will be surprised in the least when he does officially “comes out.” And since when do stars have to announce their sexual orientation? Guess what? Kris Allen is heterosexual! News flash!

Puh-leeze, Mary. She did not out him. The only person in America who didn’t know he was gay was Scott Macintrye.
I DO NOT THINK AI NEEDED A FOURTH JUDGE. KARA BRINGS NOTHING TO THE SHOW (but wasting time). ADAM’s SEXUALITY IS HIS BUSINESS. I NEVER THOUGHT HE WAS GAY. HE IS VERY MASCULINE & SEXY & GORGEOUS. KARA WAS OUT OF LINE.
I always thought he was just a female. Now I see (s)he’s as queer as a $3 bill. Who needs them?
