'What Not to Wear': Mayim Bialik to blossom on the season premiere

TLC’s What Not to Wear returns for a new season May 29, with its first celebrity fashion victim — Blossom star Mayim Bialik. You may think that Stacy and Clinton will go easy on her (Clinton does, after all, refer to her as "TV royalty" in the tease below), but it’s tough love as usual: When Mayim begs to keep the purple cardigan that she wore on an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, they make her dance for it. That, sadly, is not in the clip below, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. Also, I can tell you that Mayim’s pre-makeover wardrobe includes at least one blouse that she wore on Blossom. Yes, good times will be had by all. But mostly by Stacy and Clinton…

Are we all still loving What Not to Wear? Have you ever found youself attracted to Clinton? And is there a "royal" (code for "gettable") celeb you’d like to nominate for the show?

Either Olsen would be a fantastic “get” for this show! And frankly, they could use the help!

Good call on either of the Olsens.
I saw Clinton speak at an event about a month ago and he actually used those girls as an example of how someone’s clothes can drown them, so sounds like Clinton would agree.

Surely Mayim Bialik doesn’t need Clinton and Stacy’s help?
What happened to all those fashionable hats and suspenders from the Blossom years?

Love this show! Clinton is SO hot!

I don’t know about “attracted to,” but I remain quasi-obsessed with my belief that Clinton is related to Rachel Dratch. Seriously, look at them. And sometimes their mannerisms even sort of match up. Just sayin’.

Still love it! It’d be nice to see a few more men, though.

I have learned alot from Stacy and Clinton. I like to think this makes me one of the best dressed moms at school.
Clinton is very sexy and quite witty. Sometimes if the fashion victim is boring I just FF to see the S&C banter (and ogle Clinton).

I’ve probably learned more from this show since Sesame Street

I could watch this show all day. And yes, I love Clinton. Agreed on the Olson twins.

I love Clinton! Did you ever see the show about decorating his wonderful house in the piney woods? He would be a great BFF.

I love this show. Never gets old to me. I always want to sign some of my friends up for it, but I have a fear of being murdered in my sleep. You have to have some serious guts to call out your friends on national TV. But yeah, my one friend has shoes with those clear, plastic heels. She has stripper shoes for god’s sake! It’s just awful.

I thoroughly enjoy watching this show. To be honest, I didn’t even know it had “seasons”, much less that a “season premiere” was coming up. I just use it as a great stopgap whenever I want to watch something on TV for a bit, and TLC is good about showing it.
I agree that Stacey and Clinton are terrific together. I’ve seen Stacey host her own little talk show, and I’ve seen Clinton make some solo appearances, but they’re just not as good solo as they are together.

Misha Barton needs some help. So does Amy Winehouse (who would be pretty interesting to watch in this scenario)

Yes, I still love this show. My friend and I have thought about purchasing a hideous wardrobe from Goodwill to fake our way into the show so that we can meet our real goal of befriending Stacey and (especially) Clinton. It’s a foolproof plan.

Glad to see I’m not the only one who loves this show!! I read an interview with Stacy not too long ago and she said that she and Clinton do not hang out outside of the show. They have so much chemistry on the show I guess I imagined they were BFF’s. Clinton is so funny and sexy too!
