There are a number of funny, fantastic dance scenes in Val Kilmer’s “Top Secret”: the waltz, “Tutti Frutti,” “Swan [Schwantz] Lake,” and Val again channeling Elvis swiveling his hips to “Straighten the Rug.” One of the best spoof movies!

The Canned Heat dance from Center Stage definitely. The final dance between Scott and Fran where he begins by sliding all the way onto the dance floor on his knees only to leap into position. My all time favorite. And this might be unpopular, but I liked Dirty Dancing Havana Nights better than the original, because I thought the dancing was far better and so was the chemistry between the couple. Also The final competition in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.

I think anyone who loves ballet loves watching Center Stage over and over; guilty pleasure it may be, but it’s one of the better ballet movies out there. I love the scene before the first class starts that they’re all mutilating their toe shoes so they can dance in them.
