Adam and Kiss, and Allison and Cyndi Lauper were highlights. Having said that there were no highlights after the travesty of Kris Allen winning that took place last night. If Adam Lambert doesn’t get a solo deal by tomorrow it’s a crime. What’s the big deal? They’re both winners? The big deal is Kris Allen now has a solo deal while Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta, either of who could now slip through the cracks, don’t. That’s a huge deal and a loss to decent music as a whole. Good luck with Kris Allen. You’ve heard his first single, it was horrible, you’ll be getting more of the same.
It’s been 2 days. STOP WHINING ADAM FANS. Sheesh. Sometimes i feel bad for Adam cos i think he’s a real gem. But when i hear his nonsensical fanbase rambling on and on, i am GLAD KRIS WON!! Woooo Hoooo!! KRIS SHALL RULE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was interesting that Jason Mraz commented that Simon was looking down. Simon is rude and disrespectul to everyone, not just the contestants.

For all of you trying to dismiss the fact that adam is gay, while the majority of folks didn’t vote based on this, just read some comments on some other message boards to show that some people did. You might say it doesn’t matter to you, but it does to some. Is that the reason why adam didn’t win? who knows, but don’t just dismiss the fact that there was a contingent of voters out there that voted against adam simply because he could be gay. I love both of them and i hope they both do really well. I hope winning the title wont have an effect one way or the other because they both deserve great careers.
To Odysseus — Adam WILL get a deal, with the same company Kris does. It’s just not going to be packaged as an “American Idol” record. You’re getting WAYYYY too wrapped up in this if you take it so seriously! Obviously the other artists are going to be in talks to get their own deals, calm down. Adam will have his time to shine.
Adam will forever be season 8 to me.he was the show.hes so creative i love it!cant wait for his album;)

Totally ahead of her time. America almost did get it right. If it was Adam, Allison and Kris but even so, were lucky to have those three introduced to us. What classy performers, all three of them.

Dang it! If I would’ve known that Jason was going to on there, I would’ve watched it just to hear him sing. I love that song! He’s funny and adorable and an awesome singer. I love the hats. He looks good in them.:)
