I am torn by Earl. It still has a place on my PVR, but I don’t die if I don’t watch it. I thought it jumped the shark when Earl was in a coma. It’s been inconsistent, but still pretty funny at times. The premise may have run out of steam.

Twitition: a petition from twits? It doesn’t work at all.
I’ll miss Earl. It always makes me laugh. (Especially since I spent the first 10 years of my life in a little town near Camden.) I hope someone else picks it up.

I love Earl, and I am sad to see the show be tossed aside. I would have preferred some closure at the end of last season. That said, I totally agree with Whitney on this one: Twitition is kind of an awkward choice. However, Petwitter sounds like a word that I wouldn’t be comfortable using in mixed company or around my parebts.

  • Ben

I don’t twitter, but I will now to save Earl.

loved MNIE until the horrible season where he was in a coma. Show tanked then and never recovered. Even though it is on my dvr, I find myself never watching it.

I am as big a fan of Jason Lee as the next guy, but this show hasn’t been funny since the first season. Some times a good premise just gets played out and needs to be canceled.

  • Tom Brazelton

Watch how quickly NBC ignores this…

  • Diggity

I didn’t HAVE to see Earl every week, but I liked it when I did. It just sucks that unique shows like this get cancelled and Sh*t like Gary Unmarried is renewed. It’s a bummer. I’ll miss Joy. Does this mean we never get to find out who Earl Jr’s father is?

  • JillCall

My Name Is Earl is a great show. Keep it going. Save Earl.

  • Nick babineau

NBC bring back My Name is Earl. that was one of your best shows. NBC killed Earl when you moved it from 9:00pm to 8:00pm.

  • Flappy Chuck

So Earl isn’t worth it but you can put Jay Leno in prime time 5 nights a week??? Dumb@sses.

  • paige

i was a big fan until i stopped watching last season and this season- i felt the show was running on auto-pilot and it just wasnt as funny as it was… I’m sad to see it go because the show really did have some great characters but I’ve already mourned their loss. I’m more sad about Samantha Who being cancelled as I felt the show did great the first season and then mysteriously got ignored ABC. whats up with that???

  • Kelly

I LOVED Earl the first 2 seasons. But what happened? It just got so stupid and silly during the 3rd season that I stopped tuning in. (Remember the Family Fued special? It was AWFUL!) Earl was great, but the writers killed it. I would support keeping it on if we could go back to the way it was!

  • Ted

Earl has MILLIONS of fans — my fear is that the vendiagram subset that includes Twitter users and Earl fans won’t be enough to save the show though. SAVE EARL and put him on a better network (read: any of the other networks).

  • Jeff Harris

I don’t get it. What kind of world is this that Til Death is on a Fall Schedule and Earl isn’t? That is kind of jacked up. And the indignity of Ben Silverman to say that the series has no love from its viewers. Camden County is a few miles from home, and I’ll support them and the show.

    SAVE EAAAAAARL!!!!!!!

Eh, whatever. Used to liek Earl, but not so much anymore. I find it annoying. Catalina get on ly last never. She soulds like she has a d*ck stuck in the back of her throat. Anyone remeber the pilot when Randy was cocky and not dumb? That’s the Earl I liked.

  • MikeR

There are a lot of “comedies” that are less funny still on the air. “Rules of Engagement?” Please.

  • Maggie

With these times of writer strikes and reality show spinoffs how is it even possible that My Name Is Earl is one of those ill fated to become cancelled? Really? Deny some crap-tactular show that doesn’t make anyone laugh. Save MNIE!!!!!

  • kev

please vote on twitter to bring it back we need Earl for laughs

  • Jack Mitchell

SAVE EARL !!! It is Awesome if they need to ditch a show get rid of something lousy ! PLEASE..

  • Stephanie T.

I watched the first two seasons but then I felt that the joke was getting old. It did not help me any when I saw “Underdog” in the theater and realized that Jason Lee as “Underdog” was a bad choice because combined with the narration, the movie became “My Name Is Earl, The Underdog”. The show ran its course, now it’s time for it to end.

  • Benjamin

Keep My Name is Earl Going! NBC is stupid!
