Um… Hello?!? Does anyone here actually know what an eclipse looks like? Hmm???? Thought not. It’s either lunar or solar, sun being BLOCKED out or the moon being blocked out by the earth’s shadow! That is, in fact, the sun in the background. (I’ve probably pissed off about 100 fans there but, I don’t care)I think the sun there to show how Edward isn’t sparkling because he is a figment of Bella’s imagination. Edward/Rob (in my opinion) is looking back over his shoulder to represent the regret that he feels for leaving Bella/Kristen. He doesn’t look pissed he looks remorseful. And Jacob/Taylor has to look angry because the whole movie is supposed to show his ‘distaste’ for vampires. And Kristen Stewart isn’t that good at portraying emotions, in this poster I think she looks vacant because in the book Bella is described as a Zombie. Not being all there. And okay, so this poster does look like one of the fan ones. The more woodsy colours (brown and yellows) are supposed to help you connect with the idea of there being werewolves. They are warm colours rather than the cool blues and grays used in the Twilight poster. But I think that was Summit’s way of relating to the fans… So many of you are complaining that Robert/Edward shouldn’t have been so prominant in this poster. But don’t tell me that you wouldn’t get pissed if Summit ‘correctly’ represented the plot and had no Edward in the poster. It’s just the company trying to please everyone.
All in all, I like this poster. I think that the actors did a decent job representing the characters feelings. And it is a hell of a lot better than the Twilight posters!

I’m very disappointed that Mandi who wrote this artical didn’t do some of her homework. New Moon is about Bella’s heartbreak, the werewolfs and yes Bella and Jacob’s growing relationship. However, Ecplise is when Edward and Jacob really battle for Bella’s love. As Meyers has said about the Saga- Twilight is about frist love, New Moon is about losing love, and Ecplise is about chosing love. Other than that I CAN’T WAIT TIL NOV 20TH!!!!!! At least the offical guide of the saga comes out in Sept- so theres something to look forward to earlier.

I have watched the trailers and seen as many posters as I can and I’ll tell you I think this movie is going toe great!! I can hardly wait to see it. I love this poster thought especially with Edward in front wow can he get any hotter?! And Bella is even better looking I like the colors used it gives it an eary yet suspensful look. I have also read all four books and Ican’t wait to see eclipse and Breaking Dawn hopefully all of the actors stay the same it wouldn’t be right if they changed any of them.

Rob may have easily assumed a pretty and sexy image being assigned to play the perfect beautiful and well-dressed vampire, but,in terms of acting, he definitely is not the only best actor in the movie as he also had his awkward shots(moments.) It is only fair to say that Kristen, being purposely portrayed as the plain one like many others in the movie, had achieved the very nice, needed balance for the whole movie and for Rob. Just as the Director, Catherine, once commented, Kristen “is” an amazingly talented young actress.
I think that we should pay respect to her and the rest of the cast as the whole deal is a group effort.
