The teaser one-sheet for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, in theaters Nov. 20, has been released confirming what we long suspected — both Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) are hotter with shorter hair. At first glance, I thought this poster belonged to Lautner: The clenched fist and jaw, the bicep, the eye. (And again, the hair.) But then I looked closer at Pattinson, smiled that I actually get paid for this, and noted the purposeful peek of manly chest hair. Suddenly, I remembered that New Moon is a battle between a boy and a man — not just a wolf and a vampire — for Bella’s affections. (You’ll need to find an enlarged image to fully appreciate what I’m extracting from the photo. Of chest hair. Wait, this is what I get paid for?)
My other thoughts: That expressive look on Kristen Stewart’s face allows me to hope that the acting in the sequel will be much improved. The coloring of the background reminds me of fan-made New Moon posters. (Coincidence?) I’m liking that this film already feels darker and more atmospheric than the first.
Your turn.

Sexy, very sexy…I like it a lot. I do agree though, it does look a lot like the fan made posters I’ve seen. If I didn’t know better, I wouldn’t think it was real.
All of the Ed/Bells shippers are up in arms about it but they are forgetting one thing…Jacob has a larger role in this movie than Edward. I personally love the poster and think it is exponentially better than Twilight’s. The photoshop is much improved. And I also like how Edward has a large role in the poster even though he is not really in the movie much.
Mandi – if you ever need a sub, I’m your girl.
Are you paid by Summit to pimp up Failcob. Get real.
He’s airbrushed within an inch of his life and what is it with the arm. Its so short. But of course Failcob is short. He must be standing on a box.
What Summit are forgetting is that is unlikely posters with Lautner on it will sell as well. None of my fellow twilighters will be getting anything with Lautner’s face on it.
Its badly photoshoped. Pattinson looks cool though.
Seems an odd strategy to wind up the Edward Bella shippers when they are the vast majority of the audience. I’m expecting Summit to not make as much financially this time round and the same goes with merchandise.
Bella looks like Kristen Stewart, not like Bella is supposed to look. And New Moon is not a movie about a love-triangle – that is Eclipse. This movie supposed to be about Bella’s when Edward splits and Jacob helping her out. This poster is for the wrong movie, not that it should be for Eclipse either. But I do agree that the atmosphere is correct.
Well, the poster doesn’t do Rob justice.
Kristen, on the other hand, looks really pretty.
Taylor looks nice, too.
I dont agree he looks so good he looks so ama–zing.
Lautner’s face looks distorted with so much photoshop work.
Kristen Stewart looks vacant in the poster but then her performance in the first film was too.
maybe they should have made a few posters???
one for the jacob/bella shippers.
one for the edward/bella shippers.
and for the people who just love ‘em both??
Mandi,
And if you are unavailable, Elizabeth, I will gladly step in for both of you
As always, I love your Twilight, New Moon, Pattinson coverage. Thank you as it always makes me smile and chuckle.

“Mandi – if you ever need a sub, I’m your girl.”
LMAO
I like it a lot. Jacob is thrusting himself between Edward and Bella despite her wishes just like he does in the book. Very nice.
I don’t mind Jacob being in the poster, but I agree that Edward has the wrong look on his face for this movie. He’s looking back on the two of them as if he’s pissed. This poster belongs in Eclipse.
