Kris’s performance just gave me chills…yayyy Round 1 to Kris!
The quiet subdued Chris will win over Adam not because he is better but because he is humble. What kid would give his mom those adorable coupons so he could sing to her? Such is an act of the heart and not theatrics.
My response to Simon’s comment about not being sure America made the right decision, putting Kris through: Um, have you been LISTENING to the performances he’s been doing all season long? “Falling Slowly”? “She Works Heart for the Mone”? “Heartless”? Sheesh.
Kris slowly rocked it, too. But his music is not my music (Johnson, Mraz, etc). Adam could sing Happy Birthday underwater for his final song and I’d still vote for him.
During the commercial break, I hear they need to water down Kara…

Does Simon always have to throw in some comment about how Kris doesn’t deserve to be there? It’s like – yea, you deserve to be here (over Gokey!), but let’s be realistic, you don’t deserve to win. I don’t like the haterade – Kris is very talented and a real competitor!

Sandy! YOu are cracking me up! I am watching it in my room b/c my family does not know how to watch TV without yapping away the whole time. Of course, my plans for undistracted watching were foiled.. my stupid neighbor is mowing leaves with his lawnmower.. WTF?! Couldn’t he do that $hit earlier or something?!? I hate people.
Kara is a bit over-excited tonite, and Paula’s comments have been meaningless. But Simon has just pushed the competition, by himself, into Kris’ direction.
I agree with Simon on Adam. It was a bit theatrical and it wasn’t as good as it was before.
