I get it-finally! This show is a situation comedy not unlike Curb Your Enthusiasm. Fleiss wanted to mirror the pitfalls of what it’s like dating ‘out there’. But how to do it? Hire specific personality types to fit pre-scripted roles, create a story board or two and if a couple happen to hit it of despite all of the trickery, manipulations and cold hard cash, then so be it. About right?
As for the posters who are complaining about the lack of Canadian men for this season, they really need to ask themselves if any self-respecting Canadian men would actually appear on this sort of show-even for a hoot. Sorry we are just not into this sort of thing-Palmer being the exception of course.
It would just be too humiliating.
Still wondering why Jilly thought she would be spared the shenanigans and the emotional roller coaster. (Note the y in her name!)You really need to get a day job because the bloom is off the rose, which is another way of saying this show’s jumped the shark!

So glad you are back. I agree that last season was very draining..an emotional train wreck. However, the last 13 weeks were great to see Melissa on DWTS. She has great talent and she is also the real package too. I am very excited about Jillian. She might be your best bachlorette. She is mature, witty, great personality and can hold her own. I have my favs already – Kip and Jake.

Just curious… If the season’s still in production, what’s with the footage that looks finale-esque? Also, do the producers encourage any particular order for the roses to be handed out to make certain suitors sweat a little?

As a long time fan of The Bachelor/Bachelorette, I too am disappointed that there has never been a Bachelor or Bachelorette of any colour. Is it a matter of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it? I think that adding a little diversity would add a little spice to the show. Will it ever happen Chris?

I think that footguy may be getting a bum rap. I can sympathize with the way he feels about feet. He may have gone about it the wrong way, but there is nothing abnormal about liking nice feet. I always say nice feet make a woman complete. That’s not to say that a woman’s personality isn’t important because it is, but the attraction to feet is no different than the average person’s attraction to nice eyes, it’s just a different part of the anatomy to me, and others that think the way I do.
