Gruden needs to learn how to speak on TV. During the draft and yesterday during SC he was painfully dull. I hope that comes with experience. Love TK and PTI!
Well, I’m one of the few people who loved Tony on the MNF booth. I guess this means no more road trips for PTI.
It’s actually Jaws that kinda gets on my nerves and I’m a Philadelphia Eagles fan. I HATED Madden – so thankful that he finally retired – I’m really stoked about having Collinsworth in the booth. He really knows his stuff. I’m willing to give Gruden the benefit of the doubt. He’s certainly a fiery guy. But in the end, the announcers don’t matter as long as the game itself is interesting.
Love Kornheiser, but he’s not great in the booth. And a bad commentator can almost ruin a game. The NBA has plenty. It’s awfully distracting to be hearing about the movie they saw last night when the Biggest Play of the Game is happening on the screen! Drives me crazy!
OK, anyone who uses the word “stoked” is an idiot. Rot in hell, Michelle.
People may watch anyway but with less enjoyment. I’m not a hughe Gruden fan but he does know football and anyone is better than the last guy. What in the heck was he doing on a football show? I had to turn the sound off some games just because he was so anoying. Thanks MNF for the change
Hey, I can take about 5 minutes of Chris Collingsworth; less if he gets abnormally negative on a player/team. BUT… I heard about 5 minutes of John Gruden last week and I’m dialed into the Giants/Panthers game now… — I can’t believe I’m saying this — but John Gruden sounds like he’s cut from the same pod as John Madden, or at least the same plant. I am enjoying John Gruden as an announcer, tremendously. Put Chris back in the studio and John G. in the announcer’s booth!!!
Watching monday night right now. the announcers are terrible! i cant watch mnf without john madden.
I am so glad Tony is gone. He was so annoying to listen to especially his script prepared speaches he’d give. Those were true to his name-korny! I used to mute him. Now I font have to. YEA!!!!
