I have no idea why Pink and Carey Hart separated, but I do know why Pink confirming to Ellen DeGeneres that they’re back together made me so happy: It’s because of the article PEOPLE ran about their wedding in January 2006. It felt real and personal, like they actually knew and loved each other. It’s all about their personal vows:*
HERS: "I love you because with you, I always feel beautiful….I love you because I let you hold my heart and you haven’t dropped it….I love you because of who you are, a kind, loyal, sensitive, patient, understanding 12-year-old man. And I love you for the person that you make me, which is an open, trusting, passionate woman that wants to exercise more and smoke less cigarettes….In our future I see us breaking lots of bones, risking death, bodily injury, but also learning and growing together….I look forward to making up with you and waking up with you."

*Also, that their cake was topped with a bride and groom popping a wheelie; tables were named after cities, with place cards explaining the city’s significance to the bride and groom; and the reception featured karaoke — Pink sang "Sweet Child O’ Mine."

I absolutely love that they’re together, because they really do love each other. I thought Pink’s issues would wreck things and she wouldn’t let herself be happy, so it’s nice to be proved wrong!
Whenever celeb couples break up, I get all cynical and want them to find better partners — but I’m happy that they’re happy, I’d actually like them to last.
And btw, thanks for printing their vows–I almost started crying in my office at Carey’s words.
I think they’re a great couple, and I’m also strangely excited for them being back together!! I think the way Carey hugged her in the “So What” video is the clincher- there’s real love there- even in these cynical times- that’s something that can’t be denied! GO Pink and Carey! Yum! Now I’m off to watch that video again!!

Even through the breakup and separation you could see they really love and care about each other, so I’m glad they’re giving it another go. I mean, the “So What” video alone made we want them to get back together.
I’ve been in their corner from day one.. glad to see they’ve reconciled… though I must say separation worked great in Pink’s favor.. come on.. So What was genius!
I’m so glad they reconciled in a day when divorce is the norm and staying together is the exception. Pink always seems her happiest from the inside out when they’re together. I pray this time will be forever…

These guys are off and on so much people end up losing interest. Just do one or the other.
Skiing
Relationships are hard and I’m sure are made harder when extreme personalities and/or careers are involved…pink has both. Carey worships the ground she walks on and has since the day he met her…doubt it? Just look at him when he’s with her…I hope for him that pink can keep her extreme personality and career from destroying the marriage and Carey.
