So Neil Patrick Harris is hosting the Tonys. Best! Is there nothing this man can’t do?
Harris recently showed off his hosting panache at the TV Land Awards, he killed on SNL a few months ago, he’s total gold as a talk-show guest (this is my favorite talkshow appearance by anyone, maybe ever), he can do magic tricks — he’s Dr. Horrible for crying out loud. And, let’s not forget, Barney Stinson.
I can usually take or leave the Tonys — if there’s a show or star I’m obsessed with, I’ll watch, but otherwise…meh — but the presence of NPH means I’m definitely watching on June 7. What about you, PopWatchers?

As a New Yorker, I tend to get excited about the Tonys b/c I’ve likely seen at least some of the noms. This, though, is the icing on frigging cake. So excited!

I NEVER miss the Tonys, and by getting NPH to host, the committee has gotten me to forgive some of their more appalling nomination choices and snubs. It’s gonna be really entertaining, that’s for sure (and can we get Kristin Chenoweth to do a bit with him at some point?)

This makes me so happy. I’ve watched the Tonys in the past but it’s not something I really look forward to, but this year? Yeah, baby!!

NPH is GOLDEN! I will watch ANYTHING he is doing. LOVE LOVE LOVE him. His timing is per-wait for it-fect! I have NEVER watched the Tony Awards, (that I know of) but this year you’d better believe I will atleast DVR it. Who knows, I might watch it & not just fast forward until NPH shows up.

You know what? After not getting a Tony for playing Lee Harvey Oswald in Assassins (which I heard he was amazing in), hosting The Tonys is sweet revenge. Go, Doogie!
Never watched the Tonys before. But now, I guess I’ll be busy on June 7th. NPH can make me watch anything. Hell, if he were on the home shopping network, I’d watch.
I love Hugh Jackman as host of the Tonys (and just in general–I’ve been campaigning for him to be my birthday present, or at least sing to me for my birthday), but NPH will rock! Best idea for a host in a long, long time. I’m all for a mini “Dr. Horrible” reunion number too.
