There is a god! Hallelujiah Danny is gone!! My faith in the American public has been restored. I’ve been an Adam and Kris fan from day 1 (as well as Matt until he was eliminated). Man, I love it. I don’t know who I’m going to vote for next week either.
Totally thrilled with this outcome and think the finale will be fantastic. I’ll be happy regardless of who wins, but if I vote it’ll probably be for Kris. But I’m happy for Adam too and glad that the best two singers/performers/musicians advanced.
You seem like a nice guy, but the best 2 made it through. The ONLY reason Kris/Adam were EVER in the bottom 3 is because Kris/Adam’s fans were splitting votes with Allison. Good luck to you!
This is the most relief I have felt in months about anything on television. Bye Danny – you won’t be missed.
Kris is going to be fighting an uphill battle next week, but he is a diamond in the rough. I’m rooting for him all the way (personality and all)! Good luck to both Kris and Adam.
Booooooring finale to follow. For the first time in Idol history Iwill not be calling, texting and e-mailing for my favorite because she was “eliminated” last week. Adam is great when he doesn’t shriek and Cutie Kris is as exciting as watching paint dry. Not a real Danny fan, but at least he has some occasional Oomph.
I am on West coast so I won’t even bother to watch tonite. First time I ever peeked.

Adam ha great commericial appeal and wll sell records and live concerts for years to come. Kris is more one CD wonder, sort of like Taylor Hicks.
Yup, end of the season for me. I don’t know how to live in a world where Adam is the American Idol. He is neither original, nor unique. There are dozens of artists and groups like him on the charts right now. And they are all as terrible as he is.
best final two ever…..evenly matched in talent, charisma, and potential….different in every way possible, yet both very entertaining and CURRENT. bravo!!!

Not really. WTF were you thinking this whole time? Danny’s wailing drove me to punch babies in the face. Now that he is gone, I can finally hang out with my new 3-month-old cousin without fear of unleashing my hatred on a defenseless babe – a reflex when exposed to high-pitched squealings (aka Gokey). I hope you will toss your Faux-key glasses away and get with the real world.

I am thrilled beyond words that we have a Kris-Adam finale. This will be interesting, exciting, fun, and talent laden and I hope they both knock it out of the ballpark next week (although in my heart of hearts I hope Kris knocks it just a tiny bit further). This is the first time I will be happy with either finalist winning, even if I am deep down a true Kris fan.
Stunned. Thrilled. Relieved. Could not be happier. All is right with the Idol world and that is just so darn ODD. Either outcome will be just fine as I like both these guys so much. And for such different reasons.
I absolutely could not be happier in this moment. We got the perfect final two! Well, it would have been better with Kris and Allison, but anything without Gokey is good in my book!
The only disappointment tonight is that Slezak won’t be going Allison chartreuse. Missed opportunity, that.
