Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz are the only draws for me to see this. Robert Pattinson on the other hand? No.
Oh lovely, a good old-fashioned white man saves white woman from the scary natives story! Ugh. I wish I could be excited about this movie, as I love Jackman and Weisz and am always pleased to see more female directors, but the plot sounds terribly racist and imperialistic, so no thanks.
robert pattinson and hugh jackman??
sigh.
…YAY.
I think this will be a great film . I agree with so many others about giving Robert Pattinson a chance . Hey people he’s just starting out and he’s young so lighten up !
I also disagree with you folks that say he can’t act …. I am over 30 and have seen him in more than one film and I think he rocks . Late Happy B-Day to you Robert & good luck w/ your future movies .

Cute Costar
Now that he’s conquered the box office with Wolverine, Jackman is set to star in the 19th-century drama Unbound Captives with Twilight’s Robert Pattinson. “He’s a really great actor and a really good guy,” said Jackman. “His role is phenomenal and it’s going to be really amazing stuff.”
i will be seeing this film for Pattinson. Gotta support this wonderful man.
I dont hate Robert Pattinson but I do hate his fans. they’re absolutely F**kin pathetic… we havent even seen a trailer for this film and already the nutzo’s are already lining up because he’s in it. the funny thing is, these are the same people who ran off to see that “little ashes” movie– AND IT BOMBED! goes to show, you’re all either a bunch of liars or a$$holes… pick one and stay there. f**kin fools
Its the hyper sensitive Jackman fans that are nuts. Little Ashes is on limited release. It was on at 12 theatres in the US and the average takings was only slightly below Wolverine. So stick that where the sun doesnt shine.
Seems to me that comments about the Fountain bombing are making Jackman fans twitchy. Grow up.
yippee
Why do people actually hate Robert Pattinson? He hasn’t even done anything yet for you to hate him. It seems rather immature and premature to make such a bold statement about someone who has only been in the limeline a few seconds. Sorry if some of us think he is hot and is a good actor so far. Sorry that we are looking forward to seeing another movie with him in it. It is our opinions. Sorry we have one.
I adore Rob Pattinson and he’s the main reason I want to see the film. To see him tested as a white indian in this film will be fascinating.
Stowe mentioned this film in 2005
And finally, any glimpse you would like to share into future projects you may be working on?
At the moment, my producing partner, Michael DeLuca and I are working on The Unbound Captives. This is a period piece set in mid-nineteenth century Texas. It is a romantic, violent epic based upon a difficult time in history.
Any idea when this is expected to be released? Who else makes up the cast? What’s your role?
Unbound Captives was inspired by a historical events surrounding the Comanche/Texan conflict of the times. We read a great many captive narratives as research. It deals with issues of love, acculturation, memory, fate and redemption. I’m reticent to say much more, but we would like to begin in the coming year. We’d like to shoot through the seasons because of the passage of time. This project is the great love of my life.
I am super excited about seeing Rob in this film. Something so different. I wish Stowe every success with this project.
I really like period movies. And one with Hugh Jackman and Rob Pattinson looks like a winner.
