Absolutely, Joan was the right choice. Annie was a great game player, but she has no integrity. As Joan rightly pointed out, she says nothing in front of someone’s face, and everything behind it. That’s a business coward. Joan has more guts, more wit, and more heart, and at 75 has almost equivalent energy. Sure, she has a problem listening sometimes. But guess what? So does Donald Trump. Joan has been paying off a $37 million debt that was not hers, but that was run up by using her name, for over 10 years now. Would Annie do that? Joan truly knows what honor and integrity mean. That’s true American business, the kind we can be proud of.

Yes, Joan deserved it and it was worth the long three hours to get to the end. Hers is a great charity and she is a woman who has survived so much in her life and succeeded in spite of it all.

I do not think the right one won at all. All the fighting seemed pretty real to me but my mother tells me that it is fake. Everyone seemed so mean to each other. Wonder how it all works out after the show.

  • frank farrell

Lets see annie raises more money 4 to one, had her idea sabotaged because joan couldn’t work with the designer, and lost the celebrity component because Joan had impersonators. The fix is on. Donald shouldn’t agree so much with Joan about the crude comment about “poker players and mafia money” the fix was sure on in this show.
Annie did better and was faced with a no win situation with the trump having Rivers as the winner far before any competitions started. A joke of a show with a joke of a tycoon

  • Ana

I was very disappointed with the winner! I think Joan Rivers was intolerable! Annie played with integrity and I think she should have won!

  • Nancy

Donald Trump…shame on you! After Joan Rivers demeaning immature outbursts throughout the season…she should have been fired!!! Its people like her who prevent a team from functioning smoothly!!! It is obvious she is Donald’s friend. Annie kicked everyone’s butt!!!! And as a poker player raised much more money than Joan who has been a celebrity, running with the wealthy for 50 yrs!!! Shame on you Donald!!!
I feel like I wasted all my Sunday nights glued to this program for it to end with favoritism!!! Not next year!!

  • The Donald

Trump is a Chump and Joan and her daughter are chimps.

  • Silas Kain

Joan was the right winner. She’s proven that integrity in business do matter and that what was once the norm has now become the “new”. Annie Duke is a great poker player — and a great fund raiser. All of that being said, Joan exhibited that which is best with American ingenuity.

  • Tom Link

Way the wrong choice! I found Joan to be very Rude nasty and would not buy or support anything she is associated with. She and her daughter are posterchildren for plastic surgery gone very wrong! Joan looks like a character from a bad bride of chuckie remake!! Her refrences to hitler and the Mafia suitably offended thousands! she is a washed up old hag and needs to go away… way far away!!!

  • rrrrrr

What a farce this show was. Joan has no honor. She is full of it. The only mafia in the show were her and the people she hung out with 40 years ago.
She is a role model only for people who want to insult, complain and lie their way threw life. She is a disgusting human being.
Trump turned on Annie only because she was the messenger who brought to light the fact that Joan pissed off the events planner and that they wanted nothing to do with Celebrity Apprentice. Trump is a first class arse.

  • bubba

Trump has absolutely no integrity. If someone in my boardroom talked about another person in my organization like Rivers did, I would kick her ass out the door. Because Trump condones this and is a pawn of Hollywood bigwigs, Rivers won. What a joke, just as bad as Trumps hair.

  • P. R. Vonfourt

Completely the wrong person was hired. Annie Duke crushed the spiteful old dried prune. Joan Rivers is an awful spokesperson to represent a charity. She is a race-baiting shrew.

  • Steve

No way. Annie should be the apprentice as she raised the most money and had the best record. I think Trump had a soft spot for Joan. She should have been fired immediately when she made the Hitler comment. Disappointing.

  • Derek

So, someone who plays the game extremely strategically, raises a ton of money for her charity, and keeps everything professional loses to someone who doesn’t raise much, is extremely crude and derogatory in the boardroom, and is a liar and a hypocrite wins. It definitely pays to be Trump’s friend. Annie it should’ve been you. Joan, you lost a fan in me.

  • sandy

The right person won: Joan. I think Annie plays for “today,” but Joan played for her cause forever. It’s all about getting money for her charity and Joan will support her charity for a long, long time. I don’t think Annie will. Annie was just going for the “win” and nothing more.

  • Lisette Moores

No! Joan may have integrity but she definitely doesn’t have any tact. A role model right…Because I want my child to grow up calling people Hitler and spending gross amounts of money on plastic surgery because they its not OK to be themselves. Annie Duke played great and should have won.

  • carol

Donald Trump absolutely did NOT hire the right person. Joan Rivers is an absolute disgrace – whatever she said about honor and integrity, I saw little or none of it on show. You say that Annie said nothing out of the boardroom? Name me instances. Because I could name you instances where Joan assassinated Annie’s character both in and out of the boardroom.
Yes, Joan Rivers has great energy for a 75-year old, but is this really all there is to it? Energy? No. This is not Energy Apprentice. And she interrupted Annie multiple times and called her a potful of horrible names.
This whole episode screamed of a sham and a fix. Please. Annie Duke was the most worthy Celebrity Apprentice.

  • A Johnson

What a farce. I thought “the Don” had more in him to stand up to the big name Joan and her still 7 year old daughter. Just watch the show and the childish Rivers duo. Jesse, I loved you before and still do for saying it straight, Anne won this hands down.

  • annette

Congratulations Joan. Good Job Donald.. You picked The Lady and not The Tramp.. !! Hoooray!!

  • xxxxxxxgrrrrrrrrrxxxxxxxx

The wrong person one. Joan is no role model, she is a vile, lying, malicious human being.
Let’s see: Joe Frasier vs. a drag queen impersonator. In Trump’s world, Joan’s drag queen is the bigger celebrity.
The fix was in. No doubt about it. Joan has no honor. She has no friends, she has no anything. Besides her freaking charity is so small that they will not know what to do with $250,000. Besides, doesn’t Meals on Wheels do the same thing? Is Joan going to pocket the money?

  • Renae Olver

wow-was this biased or what. Ive worked in all aspects of business and I can say that when one encounters a slanderous employee it is best to get rid of them/the cancer. So sad to see that this is merely a marketing game and results pending on controversy and #s–like American Idol…

  • Collette

Thrilled that Joan Rivers Won! However, I think that Donald Trump is an A-hole who treated Melissa Rivers like crap. Actually, Donald has a wierdness about beautiful women without realizing that those same beautiful women if they spotted him at the local bar and didn’t know his net worth would run screaming from him like the unattractive dirty old man that he is… I’d like to see the Donald handle someone talking down to his average small chinned odd mouthed daughter the way he did to Melissa in front of Joan. He’s just so aweful. The other night I was at a Ruby Tuesday’s watching the hockey game and a fifty year old guy was hitting on girls in their twenties. As soon as he left the girls had a field day laughing about his age and looks ~ shredding him to pieces… Sorry, but if Donald didn’t have money, he’d be mighty alone. He’s in no position to be so ignorant to others. Glad Joan won, yet Annie was right too… in reality, the board room would never tolorate such nonsense.

  • Jacob Clark

I have watched all seasons, and all were ok. This time Trump got it way wrong. Annie was the right choice. I was never a fan of Joan and certainly now I am not. Joan acted like a child and would never be tolerated in any board I sit on. She was way out of line and extreme in her language. Annie was a pro and acted like it.

  • Derek

By the way, how could anyone say that Joan has integrity, when she flat out lied about the whole designer thing. She DID hire someone when the other designer was still working, and the designer DID quit because of her! Joan and Melissa make me so mad!!

  • Clay

I will not watch this next year as the show has no integrity and the results were obviously fixed.

  • Irish Lad

Joan may have won the “Celebrity Apprentice” but I have to believe she lost a lot of fans. She was a shrew on this show. I am no longer a fan.

  • frank kelly

trump set it up for his friend, joan rivers, to win. just look at who he brought back to be team mates. joan showed what a mean, spiteful person she is on this show, and it gives clear evidence why she’s been fired from every program she’s been on. and the fact that her talentless daughter was on the show is a joke. you don’t think that trump called joan after he fired melissa and told joan if she came back, he’d make her the winner??? it’s an absolute scam.

  • John O

Picking Joan as the winner condones her unprofeesional conduct and I will never allow my family to watch The Apprentice as long as they reside in my home. I also just returned from Las Vegas and I hope people will join my family in boycotting all of Trumps establishments. The finale was pathetic!

  • Shaunna

    Congratulations Joan! We Love You!!!
