LOVED the LOTR references! LOL, too funny! As much as a Adam/Danny showdown would be a KO by Adam, I’m hoping for a Adam/Kris showdown. I’m rooting for the underdog this year! GO KRIS!
Michael and Kristen, get over yourselves! So your poor, little, overrated Allison got voted off. Boo hoo! You whining comments make me want to punch both of you. Allison was NOT GOOD! The final 3 is exactly who it should be and the winner will be the one who deserves it most (which certainly wouldn’t have been Allison).
I’m still a little in denial that the “Slow Ride” duet did not IMMEDIATELY lead to the most kickassiest AI finale ever between Adam and Allison. As much as I like Kris, he’s definitely been giving out understated (and that’s totally not a bad thing!) performances which I enjoyed, but I want him back into “Falling Slowly” territory. If he gives it one like that next week, I’ll vote for him and Adam ’till kingdom come. But if he doesn’t bust it out, the surprisingly-still alive Gokey fans are gonna overtake the cutie Kris fans…and all I’m saying is…if Adam doesn’t win this thing, I really AM gonna stop watching Idol.

So right about how Danny never really engaged with or even acknowledged Kris during their duet! Yet, he was better than Kris? WTF?! Isn’t it also about stage presence? The judges should eat their own words. Plus, Adam and Allison’s duet was amazing because both of them rocked it! It’s wasn’t just the Adam show. Right on about how she saved herself! Looking forward to see what she does next. And if she releases an album, let’s hope there’s another Adam/Allison duet!

Idolatry are idiots. Idiots. Spending 7 minutes and four second bashing Danny Gokey. Are they watching the same show as I am? They are a bunch of sore losers. Losers. They said a week ago that Rock N Roll week isn’t going to be Danny’s forte’. It wasn’t. Then they turn around a bash him because of one note. Where was Idolatry when David Archuleta forgot the words?
Gokey is better than Allison outside of rock n roll. Now they are simply looking at everything Danny does and put their own spin on it. They didn’t point out the fact that Kris and Danny shouldn’t of been doing duets together. Was that fair? One thing they are conceding is that it will be a Danny/Adam finale which has been obvious for weeks. I like Danny, Adam, Kris, and Allison.
I am a adult and know this is a tv show and not the most important thing in life. I also was taught if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. There is having fun and being mean. Idolatry is simply mean.
Okay…so I understand how upset you all are about Allison. And I read your “don’t fret Kris Allen fans” phraseology, however…HOWEVER…since you were giving Adam’s obsessive some kind words for them to drool over, would it have killed you to at least give Kris Allen SOME KUDOS for stepping up week after week and acknowledging that HE TOO should have made the Final. The judges attempted to throw him under the bus, as well as Allison on Tuesday. Come Together was a great performance, NOT lackadasical. And while I agree that Danny should have been out…I still think that KRIS IS BETTER THAN ADAM BY A MILE. He’s just not as outlandish. But KRIS’ TALENT cannot also be denied. Besides, to some of us, his voice is better than Adam’s. Adam’s is okay if you like to hear cats in heat screaming.
So..thank you very much for not even giving Kris one lousy kudo on this Idolatry video.

Can we have an Idolatry about how Kris got the shaft, too? I’m glad you mentioned how Danny wouldn’t engage with Kris during the duet, but have you rewatched his performance of Come Together again? SO MUCH BETTER than what they gave him credit for. I think consistently Kris and Adam have been the best of the bunch, depending on one’s musical taste. If you don’t really like hard rock, Kris is the best just about every week. If you do, then Adam definitely wins the night for you. But Danny? When has he ever put out the performance of the night?

AI needed a mix in the final three. With the way the judges blasted her every week, the producers did not expect Allison to get this far. They now have a Rocker, a Contemporary, and a Sentimental Favorite.
As much as I want Adam to win, I foresee that after next week when either Kris or Danny (put the GO in Gokey!) leave all those conservative Christian votes will not be geared toward Adam – Danny voters will turn to Kris or vice versa – and I am afraid the most talented and entertaining contestant might not win. I think true Adam fans have been following him from the beginning (myself case in point). Probably not many Adam converts out there, but I hope I am wrong!
Danny’s performance is irrevelant (obviously). He will win American Idol.
I was thinking of writing that you mentioned earlier that you would have to be satisfied with a 6th or 7th place finish for Allison, & to take heart, so I’m happy you remembered. About Kris, I’m still hoping “America” will put him in the finals with Adam. He totally saved that duet when Danny GOT THE LYRICS WRONG. See whatnottosing.com. And for this he gets slammed. He engages, he covers his partner. What does Danny do? Not much to partner. No wonder he was mad. Go Adam & Kris.
