It’s one thing for an actor to be good-looking. But, personally, my favorite actors are the ones who have a sense of humor and the ability to tell a good story. With that said, I’d like to introduce you all to my future husband, Chris Pine. Wedding date TBA. Pine, on screens right now in Star Trek as Capt. Kirk, was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Friday night and was charming, funny, and quite dashing in his striped suit. My favorite story? To make money as a teen, Pine agreed to assemble fitness equipment. Only problem? He had no tools. Luckily, his father found his son’s old My Buddy mini tool kit which Pine ended up using. Genius!
With Star Trek kicking Romulan ass at the box office, will Pine be the next big leading man? I can see it. What about you PopWatchers?

He is beyond yummy!!!! From all the previews I have seen of Star Trek, he’s going to be a huge star.. Man, he could just stare at the screen the whole time with his gorgeous eyes and I’d still go see him! I can’t wait to catch the movie next weekend
I agree that my favorite actors are the ones that sound intelligent and are funny. So that’s why you can have Chris Pine and I’ll have Zachary Quinto.
Star Trek is EVERTHING in a movie a “Trekie” would be proud of! The cast was marvelous, so much like the “young” cast of 1965 with their banter and antics. I found myself waiting to “meet” each new cast member and once again get caught up in the adventure that is STAR TREK!
If you close your eyes, he sounds like Casey Kasem…
He completely makes up for “Just My Luck.”
I paid for that.
And then I paid for Star Trek.
But hot damn, I now love that man.

He was great in the lindsay lohan movie JUST MY LUCK — which you should check out on dvd. But he really shines as Captain Kirk on Star Trek — Now there is a breakout performance. The whole cast of star trek is actually great!
I have looked Chris Pine ever since Princess Diaries 2! So handsome, he’s even my wallpaper on my computer! I even saw Just My Luck just to see his gorgeous face. I’m glad that he’s making it, he’s fantastic as Capt. Kirk and he’s going to be huge!
He sounds like a normal, down to Earth guy. How shocking is that? LOL. Nice. Very refreshing.

Quinto’s performance makes Star Trek. Pine does a serviceable job but its Quinto who is the heart and soul of the production.
He’s too bland and boring. The US churn ou tthese actors but they are all the same. Confident articulate but BLAND. Zzzzzzzz

Chris Pine’s performance in Bottle Shock is what made me want to see Star Trek. I saw both Princess Diaries 2 and Just My Luck, but his performances in those two movies were just bland. Bottle Shock was really good.
I hope Chris Pine is the new IT guy. He is already ridiculously good looking. But he’s really funny, a great actor, and seems like a down to earth guy! I wish him the best
Pattinson looks like a little morbid girl in comparison with Chris Pine. Chris is definitely the sexiest man alive and the biggest star for this year. And men love him too and that´s a BIG difference!
Agree! Another difference with Pattinson is that Chris Pine really CAN ACT! He´s getting very good reviews and he´s so witty and down-to-earth in the interviews! Definitely, this year´s IT guy! My boyfriend have a man crush on him too!
I saw the film 5 times because of him, and I´m not a trekkie! The guy is dreamy as hell…The new Brad Pitt? No! He´s way more talented than Mr Jolie! He will be HUGE!!
