Star Wars fans: We have some juicy details about the next game to take place in your favorite galaxy far, far away. Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes takes place between seasons 1 and 2 of the animated Clone Wars series and will feature a wide range of playable heroes, including Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, and some of the clone trooper characters. You’ll be able to play around with lots of force-enhanced powers and, best of all, work your way through the game cooperatively with a friend. It won’t go on sale until September 15, but LucasArts gave us an exclusive look at the first trailer for the game. Swinging around a lightsaber never gets old, so color me psyched for this one. Star Wars needs to be more badass. It was badass in the 80s. Now it’s all…just bad. Force Unleashed could have been the visceral dark Jedi game we all craved, but it fell short on a number of counts….now this? bleh.

The Star Wars game i’m really waiting for is Star Wars Battlefront III. i played BF I and BF II and they both owned!!

Dude. Why haven’t they come up with an update of X-Wing? So many more fighters now, capital ships, etc. I simply don’t understand why this hasn’t been done.
With so many more people having high speed internet now, new squadrons would pop up hourly… it would be a phenomenon greater than anything they’re putting out these days.
An X-wing or TIE fighter game is severely overdue. I completely agree that these would be amazing if remade now. Join squads online to fly missions in space. get sent to different battle and stuff…

The Ewoks are bad-ass. Those traps used on the AT-STs were not designed exclusively for an AT-ST, the Ewoks led an assault against a military force for more advanced than their own tech, and in a victory celebration they used the heads of their enemies as part of a xylophone. This is like if the Aztec were able to fight and win against Cortez..if that isn’t bad ass, then what is? Maybe that green Muppet that knows the way of The Force, is that a beter Muppet?
As for this new Clone Wars game, it will do fine. Sell may copies it will.
As for a new X-Wing game, I’m guessing you speak of the old PC games, cos after the Factor 5 games, Rouge Squadron 1-3, Battle For Naboo, and Secret Level’s Starfighter and Jedi Starfighter, I really don’t see a high demand for more Star Wars flight games.
an x-wing / tie-fighter game would be amazing, though i fear it would be to much of an arcade game. not much good flight sims out anymore.
btw, what ever happened to the original descent games? the little spacecraft in the mines?

Man his Mom is like 78, your a wreck fool! No star wars is bad ass it always stops just short of bad ass, just enough that we can really imagine the more brutal visceral reality our that universe. The upcoming tv series promises to show us the true grit of the dark times but I am sure the maker will screw it all up but good, I’ll still love it but until I see some serious r rated material I will continue to curse the name Lucas…CURSE YOU LUCAS!!!!
