Hi Phil,
I agree it has been an awesome season. Great job on the blog too. Keep up the great work!
Phil, This season has definitely been one of the best. Thanks for all the info you have posted on your blog. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work!
I never missed an episode. I hope Margie and Luke to win. If not, then I hope Jamie and Cara win. Don’t you think that Victor and Tammy got unfair advantage at the last leg because they speak the language. I felt like CBS just handed them the million.
Hi Phil,
This is the best season. I think it was unfair that the last leg of the race was in China because Tammy and Victor spoke the language. They got unfair advantage over the other teams.
I’ve watched AR from the onset and have enjoyed each season..however..I’m somewhat disappointed in the choice of China for the setting of two of the most critical legs of the race…Victor and Tammy had the CLEAR advantage, speaking the language fluently, while the other teams struggled trying to make themselves understood. Luke and Margie were clearly at a disadvantage.Perhaps next season will have a more even playing field.
Jeez! To all the people who are crying and whining about Tammy and Victor getting that oh-so-unfair language advantage: BOO F*CKING HOO!
Seriously! Margie and Luke and Jaime and Cara knew how to swim, so that was a CLEARLY UNFAIR advantage, since the other teams didn’t really know how. Kisha and Jen can run really fast, so that’s a CLEARLY UNFAIR advantage because they can run faster than anyone else. WTF? So are you saying that all teams should be monolingual? I guess I would have been banned from this season because I speak German. Oh wait, European languages are fine. Yeah, I know that a lot of you whiners are whining because Chinese is a language that most Americans won’t ever bother learning.
I know The Amazing Race is about existing relationships but I would REALLY love to see people who don’t know each other paired up. It would be great to see strangers learn to work together (or fall apart). It would also break up the monotony after so many seasons. If you wanted to go further you could take couples that know each other, split them up and pair them with someone from a different team. A lot more interesting in my opinion.
Hi Phil,
way to go. I never been this disappointed. I still think that it was so unfair that the last leg was in China. You people just handed Tammy and Victor the million. It was unfair. I never expected this from The Amazing Race.
lilyalex, TAR did not hand Tammy and Victor the million. In case you don’t remember, all three teams arrived in Hawaii at the same time. Margie and Luke had a big lead at the roadblock, but because Victor did better, his team pulled through and won the race. The “unfair language advantage” helped him really little at that point.
Point is, if Tammy and Victor did not have the advantage in China, would they have made it to the final in Hawaii? We’ll never know.
