Let me begin by admitting that I blew it big time on my last blog. Read the full post.
I think what Erinn wrote on her sheet was she was mad that Stephen picked her to go to Exile and she will never go again. I think that is why she looked at Sierra and said “I will not be writing your name down” with such confection – not that she was agreeing with Stephen and JT (she has been basically her own person this whole time) but she was mad at Stephen. I don’t think she was aware he was sending her to “protect” the image that there is still an idol. I imagine it was an awful experience for her.
Jeff,
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give it to Coach at the live episode. All his playing with honor crap needs to be exposed….he is such a fraud…..Why would Sierra ever have wanted to realign with him? I think you should practice a little eye rolling for when he gives his answer.
I know you will, Jeff, but I just have to say that at the reunion show you HAVE to call out Coach and Debbie for their lying last night. Then coach keeps saying he never lied even before that, all the while telling Brendan they were voting for JT and then they blindsided him. If you blindside someone, there is automatically lying involved. Dip**it! And someone else said it and I must agree, I really don’t know what Sierra did to make everyone hate her so. I just don’t see it. She might have whined a bit, but everyone does at some point. Am I missing something?
Jeff, I’m a huge fan from Brazil.
Loving this season.
About the reward, continue with this one. It’s my favorite and let’s face it, it’s good. Or don’t you remember Courtney in Panama? It was beautiful.
Too bad that Sierra is gone. Just hope Coach’s blindside come really soon.
Jeff, your blog is always insightful and it is my favorite part of Friday mornings! And this blog was especially good. I’m really glad you called out Coach for being a liar. My friends and I just sit and laugh at the amazingness that is the dragon slayer.
Okay, I love Sierra and I’m sorry she got voted off. There. I said it. Why has this poor girl become such a scapegoat? The other Survivors will have to contend with their own selves now that the hated Sierra is gone. And just MHO, but Coach is one scary, crazy guy. I would not want to meet him, or heaven forbid, work with him.
I felt so bad for Sierra. I just didn’t see what she did to be so cruely treated. I mean they did it right to her face. I would have desperately wanted to go home if I had to go through what that poor girl has gone through. For Debbie to go off on her like that when SHE initiated the question. Just because it’s something SHE didn’t want to hear she goes into a tantrum like that? What a poor example she was giving to her high school students. As far as Coach goes, lying is part of the game, but don’t go on some holier than thou trip and act like you are so far above it. Disgusting! I’m not sure what the reason is that Erin didn’t vote for Sierra but it was a kind gesture to the girl who had been kicked repeatedly while down. I have never seen such horrible game play in Surivor. The tribe that had the numbers self-imploded. And Jeff, I love the rain as well. There’s such a cleansing feeling it brings. But then I live in Oregon and I guess it’s love the rain or be miserable.
This is my suggestion for sierra to blindsight Coach. If i were Sierra, I would agree to get together with Coach and Debbie and form Timbira ally. Then, with Erin, I would go to JT Taj Steph and told them bout Coach and Deb’s plan to destroy them. I would say that Erin and I would rather be in their alliance, given the way Coach treated me. After that, I’d tell Coach i’m solid and ask which former Jalapao we’d voting for. A while later, I’d send JT to tell Coach that he, steph, taj are voting for me, letting Coach think that Jalapao don’t have any idea they are being blindsight by Timbira. Imagine the drama and Coach’s face @tribal!! I think that will give Sierra a credit and more shot at winning. THE WOULD-BE-PERFECT BLINDSIGHT
I am sad that Siera is gone. I actually liked her from the very beginning. I’m also glad to see you call out Coach & Debbie. I was really hoping to see Debbie go before Siera. Hated that Coach won immunity and that he was so smug about it, but I loved the story you created on his behalf. Awesome! Also, Jeff, it’s raining in Tulsa today. How sexy is that??
Jeff, I missed your musings on rainy days. Love them. Ignore the “pervert” moniker.
Coach – the greatest fake in Survivor history. The sad part is the guy seems like he honestly believes the crap that comes out of his mouth.
Say what you will about that reward challenge but I have never seen a man so excited to know he’s not living up to his potential. By the way, I don’t know if any of you are following Coach’s fake twitter (http://twitter.com/SurvivorCoach) but it’s hilarious!
My question is, if everyone wrote down that they thought Sierra didn’t deserve to win, then why don’t they keep her to the end? Then the jury wouldn’t be voting for her.
Oh man, no season will ever top Micronesia, that was just a once in a lifetime experience, the stars and planets aligned perfectly for that season, we were lucky to witness it. This season has gotten pretty good though lately.
Taj is my favorite so far, too. I thought she’d get voted off after Brendan did, but she is playing the game very, very well.
Coach. I can’t stand that guy. I hate know-it-alls like that. He’s so irritating. WAY more irritating than Sierra EVER was. By the way – what ever happened to those very first two immunity idols? Sierra and Brendan found hers, right? What about that other older, blonde, crazy lady? Did anyone ever find that one?
Coach has “got to go”. Can’t stand him.
