I loved drop dead fred as a child and I wouldnt mind a remake to see what they could do. However, I do not think brand should get the part of Fred. Jim Carrey wouldnt be a bad idea tho, he is just funny enough and quirky enough to pull out all the stops

when is this coming out!! ive been waiting to critique it! the first has been my fav since childhood. the shenanigans they get into and the quotes are the best! can’t wait to see the new one and how much they change it. I’m really unsure if russell can re-create the character and have it as good as rick mayall’s ddf but i’m excited to see what new age technology can produce. :)

I love this movie! My kids love this movie! We know allllll the lines. I know it’s a little dark, but really, it hits a little close to home for me. I had 3 imaginary friends and my mom was… well you know

    I think Russel cannot act.
He can only be himself, and it seems as though every character he has ever played has been fitted so it will be ‘Russel’and not the correct personality.

I am proud to say ‘Drop Dead Fred’ (1991) starring Rik Mayall and Phoebe Cates is on my shelf.

My favourite scene is where he and young Elizabeth play ‘Real Burglars’.

Why would you want to petition the remake don’t you have better things to do then starting websites that try to stop a new movie from coming out everyone that loves drop dead fred your are all fantastic people and those of you mocking and hating this one of a kind great movie and actor your are all idiots your comments are arbitrary and not necessary. Go drop dead fred I can’t wait until it comes out.
