I just skimmed the comments. Slezak is at fault is one of the contestants doesn’t get to the top 2. Really? Do you REALLY think he has that power? Contestants stay on the show by 1 way only – people vote for them. If you don’t vote, that’s your problem. Please don’t blame on Slezak.
I’m not getting some of this Kris hatred. My favorite is Adam by a landslide, but I see Kris and Adam has 2 sides of the same coin. Kris is the melodic, ballad version and Adam is the rocker version. Both show incredible originality and outstanding ability to rearrange a song. I’m hoping for a final 2 with them.
Real America? Last time I heard that comment was Sarah Palin and some really smart Republicans praising small towns as “the real America” and the “pro-America areas of this great nation” (implying big cities weren’t). That turned out really great for them.

Maybe the judges are not saying Kris can win because he’s not very GOOD?
I’m not an Allison fan. I’ll try to explain why, but to be honest I’m not totally sure myself.
Positives – Allison’s voice is great. Her stage presence is great. Quite outstanding given her age.
Negatives – Her song choice is awful. Picking a No Doubt song (during birth year week) when her voice is so much more superior to Gwen Stefani? Bad song choice. And she didn’t do anything different with the musical arrangement.
She shows very little originality when it comes to the song arrangements. Though I did like last week’s arrangement. I’m one of the rare few that wished she would have kept it on the red steps the entire time, and kept the song slow. I thought when it went to the hard rock style, it was too hard rock for her and she looked in pain when singing. Vocally she sounded great though.
I think all the negatives will end with some age and experience. She’s one of the prime reasons I wish AI’s age limit was 20.
I like Kris too, but come on? We all KNOW that he can’t beat Adam Lambert.
Hell, NO ONE on American Idol can beat him. He’s original, a fantastic signer, and he’s unique. Adam is the type of person who’s performance you DONT forget! I KNOW that Adam will win…
As for the Top two/three- That’s Kris and Danny. I like Kris, but you never know…
Allison- UGH, let her leave already, i’m so over her.
Slezak’s ranking does not match his prediction that Danny Gokey will be eliminated this week. Kris is really creeping in on the most popular guy. Way to go Kris!
i really don´t understand ADAM`s fans, he seems really nice, and you´re annoying, i don´t think he`s gonna be proud of you when you get to meet him, he is talented and will win what do you have to worry

Thanks to Slezak and the rest of the media for giving Kris the recognition that he so deserves. I believe that Kris’s heartfelt, sincere vocal and his humble, gracious personality really epitomizes what an American Idol should be.
I wasn’t ever a big Kris fan, but I think he did good. Adam’s still my favorite, but hey, it’s all about personal opinion.
Allison, Kris and Adam would be a great top 3 though.
