Slezak, were you watching the same show? If I Can’t Have You “sleepy”? Only in the same was as “dreamy” or “hypnotic”.
Please tell me you are joking by putting Kris first. His performances, coupled with his ridiculously average voice, are so dull you’d need viagra to stay awake throughout them.
Kris is great and deserves to be there in the finals if only to prove that you don’t have to shove a bunch of notes or scream, wail, yell, shout to give an entertaining performance. He’s played keyboard and guitar and re-arranged a lot of his performances. He’s done A LOT to earn a spot in the finals.
Adam is OVERRATED!! He’ll be the next Taylor Hicks – popular on the show, but without any selling power, except his die-hard fans. Once people realize that they’ll have to listen to his shrieking after they buy his cd, they’ll realize that, while he is a good performer, he’s a lousy singer.
Will any of the judges have the balls to actually call Adam on his “pitchy” moments during his songs?! Then again, given Kara’s comment to Adam re: pitch, it’s unlikely that any of the three really understand the concept.
I’m a big Adam fan but think you could be right on the money. Once Gokey gets ousted (hopefully very soon) there’s no way his fans are going to switch their votes to Adam….they’ll go to Kris. All in all, I’m not sure it would be a bad thing for Adam to come in second anyway….wouldn’t he be more free to follow what leads come his way then?
I understand that you can not ALWAYS put Adam as number one, but come one, even if he would sing really really bad one week he would still be way better than anyone else in this competition. Just b/c Kris hasn’t been great so far and does ONE half good performance it’s not fair to put him as nr ONE here. Just my opinion. ADAM FTW!
Kris is on top for now based on a couple of weeks of well done perfs but overall Adam is still number one by a lot. I voted for Kris today though so he gets some deserved time on top before Adam takes over again. And way to put allison last, she def needs to change it up. Getting as dull as gokey. Sorry. Matt I just don’t care about enough, his voice is decent but he needs to reign it in.
Simon just came out and said his picks for the top two are Adam and Danny b/c they are the best singers. And don’t get too cocky about Adam. Mindy Doo was a great singer too and she got the boot. You never know with the fickle voters. If America had any sense, Allison would not keep being in the bottom!
Have to agree with some people here, Slezak. I generally agree with you, but not this time. Though I like Kris (would love to see him in the final two), I don’t understand why you had him ahead of Adam this week. Since Adam was your number one for awhile, I don’t fully understand the flip this week. Yes, Kris did a great job in disco week, but so did Adam. And even if you preferred Kris’s disco night performance over Adam’s, collectively no one has held a candle to Adam.
Only in the feverish, demented little mind of micheal Slezak is Danny #4!!! Danny is wildly popular across America, the REAL America. Too bad for the whole lot of you when he wins and is standing showered with confetti!
One more thing, I’m not hating Kris and I do think he should be in the FINALE w/ Adam, but one thing about him is that he always picks the same type of songs, almost always ballads like he does that just for the votes. It feels a little bit too safe for me.

Adam and Kris, yes. I think Gokey will be undone this week unless he can find a rat pack song to shout. Maybe he can do Candyman. haha!

We got rid of sour, surly Anoop…so please, this week America lets eject Allison before she ends up a tragic Hollywood story. I would try and save Adam from that fate but he already is one. I hope neither of them, or Lil, attempt to ask Danny for loans after he hits #1 on the charts.
