'Idolatry': Farewell to Lil and Anoop! But how come no one's voting for Allison?

OMG! enough with the allison pimping. could it possibly be that *you* guys are the clueless one about allison? that america has it right?
she is just not that interesting and memorable?
the arrogance of the EW crew is getting tiresome.
Hey “Hey Slezak”: I believe Anoop is a grown man and can use however many F-words he effing wants.
Sigh. Anoop and Allison were my favourite contestants since Top 36, so I am very sad that Anoop is off the show! He has such honey smooth vocals, and I disagree with the “Don Johnson” assessment-Anoop was looking HOT that night! Love the scruff, the hair, the suit, all of it=SEXY.
I’ve lost interest in the show now. I still like Allison but she is going a bit downhill for me. I do hope she outlasts Danny and Matt, for she is more talented than they are.
Why are people bashing Anoop, he’s off the show now, so shut up! He never used the f-bomb, he’s not an arrogant frat boy at all. He was one of the most respectable and gracious contestants on the show, especially considering all the crap he put up with from TPTB.

All the anoppees– the top 7 looked like a very closed clan, no need to be angry at the other contestants. I watched the interview with all the 7 on Fox Extra after Matt was saved and Anoop said that danny (his roommate) and Adam helped him with song selection and arrangements. They all helped each other so the fans should not like little kids and be angry. as for Slezak’s Allison’s pimping– the way I read the videos they are so exaggerated that he has made his Allison love into a joke. it’s as if it took a life of its own on the videos. it’s funny…don’t take it too personal.
Anoop wasn’t my favorite singer, but you have to admit he demonstrated grace and good humor throughout the competition. He put up with a lot of disrespect from Ry Ry and the judges most weeks, in front of millions of people, and bore it with more patience and restraint than most of us ever would. I think if we are being honest that most of us would react like Megan Joy or Lil to being berated by the judges. Nearly all the top 10 contestants this year seem to be very respectful and polite. They give props to others who help them with their song arrangements, and thank the band after performances. Anoop stayed a class act throughout, even thanking the vocal coaches and other people behind the scenes at AI when he got eliminated. That’s not my definition of selfish and arrogant behavior.
If it is Jason Averett who edits the idolatry videos – he deserves a shout-out because his work is so specific – always capturing the right moment of an Idol or wonderwoman clip both visually and audio-wise – So funny too – Thanks for this piece on Allison – don’t pay attention to the negative comments here – Save The Rocker.
My fantasy: Danny comes to the Idolatry studios for an interview and you guys realize that he is actually a nice guy. He even (embrace yourselves) ends up dating Kristen. yep! mad love story, big attraction between 2 opposites (and 2 big egos…)… by the way, I am NOT a Danny fan, I just think that he is a nice guy and that your hate of him is bizarre (though makes for entertaining videos.) Go Adam!
adam all the way!!! when I think that he might not when I just cringe…but I just can’t see him not winning! this season is his. he has helped me want to tune in.
I like kris and he has been doing great but he just does not cause the same excitment as adam.
im not that into allison, shes just the same every week, nothing too special. but i agree with ur thoughts about adam, he really seems genuenly sweet
Yuk, yuk,yuk!! Slezak, Allison is good but she is not the second coming!! Your constant raving about her is becoming a little creepy and is not becoming of a man of your age, gay or not. It is rather unseemly! Please stop. As many people have said in their comments, there is something a bit off in a 16 year old (lets hear it again, a 16 year old!) looking and sounding like a 35 year old, chainsmoking, alcoholic floozy who has yet again been dumped by some no good, lying, cheating man. When Allison has had a few more years behind her and has lived a little, the act might work, Until then, I think that the AI voting public will be behind the others. And because of the total disregard you have shown to Anoop and his faultless vocals and due to the relentless pimping of Allison and Kris, I am going to be rather mean and hope that your favourites end up in the bottom two next. And so that I can imagine you raging at your TV, I’m praying that the final three are Adam, Danny and Matt.
Every time Allison lands in the bottom three I feel EMBARRASSED to be an American.
Man, some of you people need to chill – everybody has different taste in music, if we didn’t there would only be one type of music out there. The last 5 contestants are all good or they would not be there, we all think there is one better than the other because that is the type of music we prefer. Why be so mean towards the other contestants? I have my favorite too but I am not going to put down the others, they are still very good!!
