Great episode, guys. I have to say I agree that I’ll be missing Anoop’s parents more than Anoop himself (and obviously, Lil). I swear those people need to have their own show. Get on that one, FOX! It’s not like your station can get any worse than it already is. I’d watch it!
Also, I’ll never, ever understand why Allison isn’t adored by the American public at this point. If she doesn’t remind you of Kelly Clarkson, then I don’t know who can. People need to wake up and realize that she’s this generation’s Kelly. Not to suggest that Kelly is slowing down at all (MLWSWY, anyone?), but I think you get what I’m saying.

What is in the water cooler there at EW? Because seiously, Slezak- your site is the only one on the net who even likes Allison. For teens, she acts/sings too old school. For most adults, she is a poser trying to sound like Joplin but coming off as a second rate Kelly Clarkson. Stop trying to make Allison happen. It’s not going to happen.
Carry Underwood and Kelly Clarkson would not have won this year. You were absolutely right– from a singing competition it has become an artistry competition and I am tired of that. I just want to hear Good singers. by the way, your videos crack me up.
To Danny- Kelly is ‘this generations Kelly”. She has two songs on the countdown right now. Her career is still in full swing. WE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER KELLY.
The thing about Allison is that adult like her. Teen age girls (who vote million times a night) prefer the hot guys (Adam and Kris). I thought that Miley Cyrus will help her but perhaps not…I like Allison but I must admit that both Kris and Adam are brilliant and more mature than her. I don’t think she can or should beat them.
Because she’s not our favorite, that’s why. And, I’m tried of reading about her here.
have you looked at the i-tunes sales? Adam is far in the lead, Kris is also doing well (especially in the last few weeks). After them it’s Allison and Adam. LIl sold even less than Jorge, and Matt sold than Anoop! why the hell did they save him??
I just want to say that I am not even an American, but Adam Lambert has become very popular in most of the world. He has the universal appeal that the Christians (Kris and Danny) don’t. just fyi…
The judges have their favorites. They are never gonna give their top critic to Allison. Maybe Simon will come around… Paula doesn’t really count cause the others will manage to drag the mood down. Randy was a huge buzzkill after a great performance. I wanted to hear “Molten hot lava bomb!!!” but as soon as he opened his mouth I knew it wasn’t gonna be “Allison’s night”.

I don’t think Allison should win, but she’s miles away from Gokey, Matt, and Kris in the talent department. Well, Kris seems like a decent musician. Nevertheless, Allison is much more interesting.

The reason why she’s in the bottom two: Um… CAUSE I DONT LIKE HER! I mean she’s ok and all, but she’s just not my favorite. And honestly, i’m sick of EW going on and on and on about her. FIND ANOTHER FAVORITE ALREADY!
My favorites are Adam( who WILL WIN!) and Chris, maybe Danny. ( no matter how much he gets insulted by EW)
My top though is Adam and I will keep voting for him until he wins, and I don’t care WHAT allison fans say, Adam is the REAL rocker!
I’m not American and I’m pretty sure most countries have mainstream radio stations which want music that doesn’t up set people. Or why else would Coldplay be popular? And “You’re beautiful” was a huge world wide hit. fyi
I don’t care if Allison is the next Kelly, I LIKE KELLY clarkson, she doesn’t need some 17 year old wannabe of her. I LIKE adam, because he’s not some modern version of someone already on this show, HE’S UNIQUE! He’s Adam freaking Lambert! THe one and only. That’s why I don’t care for Allison, I have my own favorites who don’t make me yawn every week!
