NBC has released a partial cast list for its upcoming reality series I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, debuting June 1. Three additional participants and theshow’s host will be announced at a later date. First reaction to the names below: they kinda blow. But then, I remembered the beauty of this show — at least when ABC did it in 2003 — is that in addition to voting on who goes home, viewers also get to choose which celebs do what humiliating and/or horrifying challenges. So you want a cast that kinda blows so you can torture them (for charity!).
Now how does the cast look to you? Who should take those final three spots? (Sorry Rod Blagojevich.) And because we always like to play nice: Which of these people would you least like to make feel uncomfortable and terrified? I’m gonna give my PopWatcher save to Stephen Baldwin, who, believe it or not, has a nut guard in my eyes for his work with Corbin Bernsen on Celebrity Mole Hawaii.

Hate to nit-pick, but Torrie Wilson was never “Champion”. Shouldn’t it say former WWE Diva/Playmate.

If you’re going to award Stevie B. a nutguard, why in the world wouldn’t you give it to him for “The Usual Suspects”, the only piece of work from him that’s worth a darn.
Since Roderick can’t be on the show, Octomom would be a suitably disgusting replacement. Lord knows she could use some publicity. KC from KC and the Sunshine Band proved he’s more than willing to publicly humiliate himself on Idol so let’s extend his 15 minutes of added fame to a solid 20-25 minutes. Then of course the last spot would go to Kimmy Gibbler.
I like Baldwin on these shows… I think that he makes for good TV.
I can’t wait for Janice Dickinson to make Spencer and Heidi feel like garbage. She’s good at that.
Well, I certainly have nothing against Heidi Montag or Spencer Pratt. Of course, I’ve never *heard* of them either…
I’m with Rob. I like Stephen Baldwin on these programs too. I thought he and Corbin Bernsen were what made the Celebrity Mole worth watching. Too bad Corbin didn’t get on this as well. I’m a Celebrity… was a bust when it was on before, although I watched it and rooted for the eventual winner–Chris Judd. I think this time around, NBC has gone for more celebrities that people dislike, although I haven’t heard of a couple of them.
The better version of this show would be tell these folks that they are competing on a reality show, then get them to a deserted island and say “guess what, we’re leaving you here” so it can turn into a full-on Lord of the Flies bonanza. Now there’s a show I’d watch, particularly because I bet the group would sacrifice Spencer first.
I would enjoy seeing creepy Octomom tortured on this show…and she’s so desperate for fame, she would probably enjoy it.
Sanjaya is just sad…but it will be nice to see people get revenge for having to listen to his “singing.”
Janice Dickinson came second on the UK version of this show, she was robbed. Lets hope she wins on the US version.

I’ll give you guys this: Stevie B. is 100 times more enjoyable on these shows than he has been in any movie during the past decade.
This cast is beyond a joke, and I couldn’t bother to waste 5 minutes on any of them, even for torture’s sake! They better hope those last three are amazing picks, or this show won’t last past the second week.
A CELEBRITY would be someone like George Clooney.
