'American Idol': What did you think of tonight's double elimination?

Did anyone notice that Gokey actually looked shocked that he wasn’t in the bottom three? Perhaps it was great acting but he truly looked as though he thought he’d be sitting in the stool of doom. Maybe he’s actually figuring out that the honeymoon is over.
i loved the first half, DESPISED the second half!! anoop has a GREAT voice! i’d rather hear him and kris sing than EVER have to hear adam the screacher or put the go in gokey ever ever again. DAMN THE JUDGES SAVE!
These eliminations were irrelevant to me. I only watch this show to see Adam Lambert and fast forward through the rest.
Ugh, Kris Allen, who happens to be okay, but very boring and way too earnest when he sings, is going to play spoiler this year. And then promptly flame-out once he releases his Mraz/Meyer imitation to the masses. All because he is a better version of Sanjaya, vocally. He is clearly coasting on his looks because he hasn’t shown much personality.
I am so happy Matt was safe!
He deserved it. He made a horrible song sound cool.
Apparently next week is jazz week! That is right up Matt’s alley. Yay.

To asiseeit: You couldn’t have expressed my thoughts more perfectly…. Lil has been a disaster for weeks. Most annoying has been her inability to keep her mouth shut when the judges speak to her. For the most part, the others seem to possess the maturity to know to be quiet. One of the most disturbing things, however, has been her family’s incredibly rude and crude behavior captured and replayed on tape. I am referring specifically to their actions when positive things were said about Anoop. On the other hand, Anoop’s parents–classy from the outset–always applauded for ALL the other performers, no matter what. Shame on Lil’s family…
So glad Allison didn’t go home. The right two went. Now it’s Danny’s turn (in my crazy dream world anyway), and then Matt. Hoping for Allison and Adam top 2! I just Don’t get the appeal of Danny. I’m a guy so maybe I just don’t get it, but is that guys voice actually sexy. I think you have to be going through menopause to think that is sexy, that must be the key.
Tonight’s episode of Dancing with the Stars was great….oh this was American Idol, I forgot when I saw that once again they chose dancing over singing. Didn’t Randy just last night say over and over that this is a singing competition. It’s not a dancing show, that’s why we have Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. I don’t get it at all.
I am glad that Alison stuck around but I am nervous that she won’t get the teen vote that it seems Matt is getting. I’m not saying that Alison will or should win, but she deserves at least Top 3. The ideal final 3 as of now is Adam, Kris and Alison. All do to originality and uniqueness, although Gokey has a great voice he is more Taylor Hicks than anything, and we know how that turned out.
Adam, Kris and Alison each are different than the previous winners which makes each of them stand out. As of now I don’t know how Adam can lose.

i’m so sad. anoop was my favorite and now he’s gone. but last year i voted a million times for david archuleta and he was really, really bad tonight, so maybe i just have bad taste LOL.
