First of all, let’s talk about that "Legends of Disco" medley, or whatever it was they were calling it. Wait! On second thought, let’s not. [West Coast readers, there are SPOILERS ahead!] Instead, let’s focus on the positives of tonight’s Disco Week results telecast. Should we talk about the return of the lip-synched group performance? Or the fact that the vocals during the Ford Music Video might as well have been recorded by 5 Macs and a couple of PCs? Or maybe we should just focus on the fact that Allison Iraheta inexplicably found herself in the bottom three — again! — while the meditative Danny Gokey remained comfortably ensconced on the Plus Couches of Safety. Okay, clearly I’m not doing well with the glass-half-full shtick. I’m gonna go write my full TV Watch recap and try to work it out, dawgs. In the meantime, chat amongst yourselves in the comments section below. Oh, and for those of you who are wondering, tonight’s eliminated contestants have names that (sort of) rhyme with Shrill Hounds and A Loop West-Siiiiide!

Loopie got a raw deal. I wished A-son actually really got the boot… But that would mean the collapse of AI, right?
Wow, David Archuleta was REALLY BAD. I think it was because he was doing a medium-tempo song and trying to appear energetic…he lost all concentration on his singing. Thank goodness Lil is gone! I won’t miss Anoop, either.
Let’s hope Matt goes home next week- I honestly don’t see him going anywhere above the top 5.
What???
Anoop was sent home, Idol producers cheated him of a top 3 finished.
Boooooo!!!!
Anoop sure outsang Archuletta.
ugh…cant believe it was anoop instead of matt. ugh ugh ugh. at least we saved the rocker!! (but BOTTOM THREE, WTF)
I was secretly hoping Allison was going home. I like her, but I’m obviously not the only one she’s not clicking with. Sorry Slezak. Her days are numbered. My guess is that Matt and Allison are the next two out, leaving us with a Adam-Danny-Kris top 3. Which I would love. I know I’m in the minority, but I’m ok with that.
It just occured to me…Apparently with the economy and a new producer, Idol ISN’T giving back this year?
Ah, tough times, tough times.
It should have been Tri-Klops who went home. That third eye is really freaky.
Please send Goatkey or Donkey home, he is damn annoying.
Lil’s and Anoop’s eliminations were only fair given the abilities of the other contestants. Alison did not deserve to be in the bottom 3 though. It should have been Danny or Matt. Go ADAM! My entire college is in love with you, lol. Your daring performances and artistry are inspiring.
It turned out exactly as we wanted! We voted like crazy for Matt just to keep him in one more week and are so glad there wasn’t a shock elimination of Allison! Lil and Anoop–they deserved to go home because the other singers are more talented overall. AI gave them a nice send off–so positive! I was impressed.
Lil was unorginal and annoying, she just wouldn’t shut up or listen, so I’m glad she’s gone. Anoop can sing but has no charisma. Next to go are Matt and Danny.
Adam can SING! Adam can dance! Loved his moves tonight. Sweet dreams…
I’m so very sad to see Anoop go. Mostly, because he tried so hard to follow what the judges told him what to do. His voice was not my favorite, but he’s handsome, and likable. I think he could have a great future, if he figures out how not to be an “AI Package Artist” So sorry Anoop. So sad for you. You will be missed. Now It’s American WHITE Idol. Sheesh…
I won’t miss Anoop that much, but I wish Gokey had gone in his place. He is truly horrible and makes me cringe in every performance.
