A few weeks ago, American Idol’s season 7 standout Michael Johns stopped by the Idolatry studios (aka the cubicle area outside my office) to talk about what we can expect from his upcoming debut album, why he’s hoping to remind the Idol machine that there’s more to rock music than the Chris Daughtry sound, and how he came to collaborate with A-list songwriter Diane Warren. And when he was all done, Michael grabbed a stool and his acoustic guitar and performed a cover of the "To Love Somebody" right in the middle of our hallway. Thank you for posting this interview and performance Slezak! Michael sounds amazing, looks amazing, and I love his new single “Heart on My Sleeve” (released to radio today and available on Itunes and Amazon now!).
I can’t wait to hear Michael’s album (out June 23rd), “This is Goodbye” sounds amazing and I know this album won’t disappoint.
