'Idolatry': Inching closer to an Adam-Allison finale?

The video of Michael Johns just makes me think Season 8 is lame. He’s got more charisma and star portential than all of the the Season 8 peeps combined (well, Adam could fit into Season 7 although I don’t know how he’d do). I miss Carly, Michael, Cook and Brooke (sorry, no love for Archie here). I can’t imagine any of Season 8 coming back next year and performing – except Adam.
adam is the best! i would like to see him perform: crying by roy orbison i’d like to see him sing it to: mia, she’s a soap star on days of our lives, i could just see them doing a music video togather, she would do nothing but appear in the video he would be singing about them. i’m a fan of both.

Some of the evictee interviews (which will never be Allison) are kind of *yawn* (not you michael) but I still watch, waiting for your nuggets.

PS: my weekly life is a very work related, full, ambitious, active and productive week (please don’t lay me off), so when I say I am able to tolerate an entire week of getting paid for something called work (i do internet tech support, need I say more)to get home, pop a brewski and load Idolatry and you make me feel whole…you know what I mean.

If it came down to an Allison-Adam showdown I would want Allison to win. Adam is just to weird. But anyway the one song I want Allison to sing is Barracuda by Heart. I would die!!!(in a good way)
I know every just loves Adam. I think Vegas/Broadway is where he belongs & he’ll probably do quite well there. I doubt this will be an Adam/Allison finale. I would love to see Allison win but even though her fanbase is starting to gain it might be too late. To me, the American Idol should not only have a good voice, should be marketable on Top 40 but I really feel that Americans like their A.I. to also be a role model. Adam is gay & he doesn’t try to downplay it. We are more liberal these days & accept gay people but most of us are uncomfortable with the gay lifestyle & especially if it’s “in your face” gay lifestyle as Adam’s displays, particularly seeing him in drag french kissing his partner Cassidy on the internet. Sure there are many very successful gay singers & celebrities but A.I. is about the boy/girl nextdoor that makes it & just needed that break. I would never cast him as a good role model not because he’s not a good person it’s his obvious “queen” persona & lifestyle.
