it’s funny the same people who who go on and on about how much there Family loves Adam Lambert, will probably turn on him faster then Kelly Ripa’s hand over Clay Aiken’s Mouth, once he finally comes out and actually says he is Gay!

  • Sue

Craig, I don’t know what rock you’ve been under but there is not one person I know, including my family, who doesn’t know Adam is gay. Yawn. Completely irrelevant to this competition.

  • The Truth

To craig. Everyone knows Adam sang the version by Gary Jules. You know why? Because there was so much buzz about it afterwards-it was THAT GOOD. And everyone also knows how much he changed it up. Do you know why people aren’t talking about the people who did Kris’ version of whatever song he sang? Because no one cares because he wasn’t “brilliant” -he simply just didn’t suck. If it were brilliant, yahoo searches would have spiked and the original song would have charted on itunes like it did with Mad World (#11) and Hallelujah (#1) from last year.

  • The Truth

I stand corrected, #18 on itunes is pretty respectable, but there still seems to be no buzz about it.

  • To The Truth

You know not what you speak. Kris’ performance of “Falling Slowly” was all the buzz on Wednesday. If you bothered to read any of the hundreds of Idol recaps you’d see how much journalists and bloggers alike raved over the performance. Sounds like your bias for Lambert is hurting your ability to think clearly. You should work for MSNBC or The New York Times. You’d fit right in.

  • Chris

    To the truth,
If there was “no buzz” about Kris’ rendition of “Falling Slowly” then why would it be #18 on the itunes download list? duh.

  • To Craig

oh my god, adam lambert is gay?!? I am in total shock. I had absolutely no idea. There was never any sign and no one said anything about this before. My family will now stop voting for him immediately. Thank you for that info, Craig.

Lori: Unlike Adam/Allison Kris is not a professional or semi-pro. Kris has never had TV or Theatre experience.

This could also be seen as not paying your dues.

  • MJ

Michael, I have to disagree with you about being unhappy about Matt getting saved….but only because with the judges’ save used, there is no stopping putting the GO in Gokey! Now is the time to get rid of him and get the rocker the victory special she so deserves.

There was so much buzz for “Falling Slowly” because of Kris’ performance.
    - Magazines such as Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, and Rolling Stone raved about it.
    - Many newspapers had a story on it.
    - MTV mentioned it multiple times on MTV News and Idol in 60 seconds
    - The song had two entries in the Top 20 searches in Google
    - Monstrous sales for the original on ITunes (did it peak at #18?)
    - I believe it was on Twitter’s trending topics. If you typed “Kris Allen” or “Falling Slowly” in the search box hundred/thousands of people were tweeting about it.
If anything was buzz worthy on Tuesday’s show… it was Kris Allen’s performance.

I am so with you! Thank goodness there are people like Craig watching out for us and all the families in America. I shudder to think what would happen if we let talented gays and other weirdos (like that unnaturally gifted Allison!) influence our children. Thank you for guiding us all Craig!

First off, I love Kris and hope he and A x 2 are in the final. But Randy WAS right that Kris was pitchy, especially at the beginning of the song. Listen to the backing guitar right at the start–he’s way off. That said, he fell into pitch a little bit better later, but along with the jazz funk homework it was still one of his worst performances for Kris, for me, for you, for God, and for all sentient beings.

  • RMB

LOVED Kris — I didn’t know the song before and I thought it was brilliant, singing and all. Comparing him and Adam/Allison, though, is apples and oranges. He writes his own songs, plays instruments, etc. Adam and Allison have killer vocals and theatrical presence. I love them all and hope they all go far, even after this competition is over.

  • To RMB

I LOVE your comment. So positive. It’s a nice change from all the mean spirited stuff and I totally agree. Adam, Kris and Allison would make the best final three ever!

    Kris rules!
And I loved your idea for Lil. Quentin, cast the girl in a movie! Today! Start filming it tomorrow! We’ll all be delighted that Lil has a job that will help her family out, and that she is not longer bleating at us.
