Yes – we’re all getting carried away because she doesn’t have the “look” that’s expected. She made at least 3 really big mistakes singing in the semi-final last night, and in her audition her voice was atomising into the music on the low notes – she didn’t have the range. Shaheen is more talented (faultless performance), and I liked Shaun Smith and Jamie Pugh. But it’s Diversity all the way for me!
You are right and wrong. Susan does have talent which includes imperfections all humans have. Her performance in the semi finals was not perfect. I doubt that any non professional singer with the intense pressure of knowing the world was watching plus the competition itself would have done better
I think all you trolls are just envious of her notoriety. I am happy for anyone who can enjoy the popularity that Susan is currently enjoying and more power to her!

The silliness continues, even after another so-so performance (even for an amateur) of another hackneyed tune. Better than Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland? The mind boggles.
Congratulation to Susan Boyle. It is X’mas and her album already 2.5 million and counting in US just 1 month plus millions globally. Just like your voice, unbelievable, amazing etc. She is a miracle from God.

I admire her courage. Even If I am able to sing very well , no learning disability and has many experience in singing competition, I will never dare to go for any singing competition like BGT knowing that people will laugh at me . I salute to Susan who dare to do it!
