Perhaps you’ve seen the commercials. Or even read about it on this very site. Well, PopWatchers, I have seen the pilot of Fox’s new series Glee, which premieres May 19 after American Idol, and I am officially obsessed. I’ve watched it all the way through twice and have re-screened the performance numbers more times than I can count. It’s becoming a little ridiculous. I may have to join some kind of support group. The series, which centers around a outcast-filled high school glee club, completely won me over. But it’s the performance scenes that truly keep me coming back. My favorite is a cover of Journey’s "Don’t Stop Believin’." You’ll have to tune in on May 19 to see what I mean, but below is a promo that uses the song and some of the footage. Doesn’t it just fill you with, well, glee?
'Glee' on Fox: It hasn't even premiered yet, and I'm already obsessed!

First of all, the fact that it stars Matthew Morrison, and has Lea Michele and Jane Lynch and is about CHOIR is reason enough.
But what really got me going was the show choir version of Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab.” DONE AND DONE.
Oh, and I love that part in the promo where the girl goes “I am Beyonce, NOT Kelly Rowland.” Bahahaha.
This show is produced by the one and only Ryan Murphy so it’s gonna be a must see. Plus Jessalyn Gilsig is in it whom I miss a lot on Nip/Tuck.
I am such a geek, but I so want this show to succeed, because it looks like my kind of show.
I have been playing this GLEE “Don’t Stop Believing” preview all the time since I saw it in the 2-hour American Idol show. I stopped watching American Idol and just re-wound that preview over and over again. I’m creepily, sadly obsessed with this show, and it will not stop. Truth Time, here? Lea Michele’s voice kind of makes me want to do a joy dance and cry all at the same time. God, she’s AMAZING!
I wasn’t obsessed until NOW! Hadn’t even heard of it, but I saw this article and checked it out. I loved Popular, and love a good musical, AND Lea Michele looks JUST like my niece–who is also named Rachel like Lea’s character in this show. Can’t wait!
Hurrah! I’m not the only one who has Glee’s rendition of “Don’t Stop Believin’” stuck in the head!
You have the pilot? LUCKY!!! It had me hooked from the first time I saw the promo
I am so glad other people are excited too. The minute I saw the commercial I was excited for it. I’m really hoping it gets a big fan base
I seriously cannot wait for this show. It looks PHENOMENAL. It combines everything I love!
I had never heard of Glee until this article, but wow, that looks pretty good! I got the shivers.
Oh…my goodness. I wants it. Now. I ain’t waitin’ for no May 19!!!!!!! Leak the pilot, you know you want to….
Wendla! From Spring Awakening. AND Jane Lynch. I’m sold!
i’ve also seen the pilot 2x, it’s fantastic.
Wait a second. This has Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, and Lea Michele?
And Cheno, JLY, Victor Garber, Xanadu Guy, and Miz Monk will be guest starring?
If they tossed in LaLuPone, I could die for the second time, right behind the meltdown show of Gyspy.
This makes the theatre geek in me sing.
I’m addicted…counting down the days until the premiere.
Aaron, how did you get your hands on an advanced copy?
