'American Idol' Power List: Who's your favorite with six weeks remaining?

Adam Lambert is amazing. I always look forward with anticipation each week to see what he will preform. I must say that he never disappoints me. This young man is the whole package deal rolled up into one. His rendition of a mad world was fantastic and none of the other contestants consistantly deliver like Adam does each week. This young man is in a league all of his own and the others are miles behind him. I am never bored watching Adam and I must say that if he was not in this competition this year I would have tuned out long ago because the other contestants are boring and predictable.
Adam Adam Adam. Love him. He understands what giving a performance means. It’s about connecting and making people feel. He’s amazing in every way. Im in the UK and my whole family love him. Would not be watching American Idol if it wasn’t for him. He is magnificent. He won’t be a ‘normal’ idol winner. He will be a global phenomenon.
A SIMPLE AMERICAN IDOL POWER RANKING GUIDE
There’s a difference between POWER and PERFORMANCE rankings, the former being cumulative whereas the latter is strictly based on performance week only.
\
Here are 3 simple guides to detect if the author or critic of such is reliable or not:
1. If Adam Lambert is not ranked number one, don’t bother reading further.
2. If Kris Allen is ranked below number three, then the list is bogus.
3. If Danny Gokey is ranked above number four, you are being misled by an obviously Gokey fan; therefore, the list must be a combination of wild imagination and a nightmare.
On the other hand, a good example of an AI PERFORMANCE RANKING is the IDOL METER.
Adam will win, he is the best! No questions.
“the woman who the judges claim is one of the season’s strongest singers (seriously?)” I think seriously, yes, because I think she’s got loads of natural talent. But I agree with you that she hasn’t deserved the praise of the earlier weeks. Something happened between her first audition and her time on the Idol stage–nerves? Lack of experience? I think it will be interesting to see how she is at the end of the Idol tour, perhaps the weeks of singing will have given her control. (Or perhaps she’ll blow her voice. Though I hope not.)
I agree with the writer of this article 100%, that’s exactly how I rank the contestants.
I’ve seen it mentioned here and in an article in today’s paper about pushing Christian singers through. But I haven’t observed AmIdol playing up anyone’s religion beyond occasionally mentioning some of them sang in church. If people want to vote for the most deeply religious singer, they’re free to do so. If they’d rather vote for the most talented singer, again, it’s their prerogative. If they feel the most talented is also the most Christian, great. Bottom line, if someone is good, win or lose, they’re going to be successful. Look how many runner-ups have been at least if not more successful than the winners. IMO Danny Gokey is very talented; but even he wins it all, Adam Lambert’s record deal is a given.
What the hell is the matter with EW talking about Adam the way they are in some of these videos. Either these people ARE JEALOUS, or they have no damn taste at all. The voting results SHOW the truth. Adam is the BOMB! Best damn performer that AI has ever had in all it’s 8 years.
Adam And Allison FINAL TWO!
I think Matt is outstanding,
Greatest finale would be between Matt & Adam
