I don’t get why everyone sees Adam Lambert and just wet themselves. “Oh, he’s extraordinary!” “He’s amazing!” “He’s revolutionary!”
He’s a one trick pony. Song + So-So Rearrangement + Badly Placed Falsetto + Over Sexing the Performance = Every Single Week for Him
But I know he’s gonna win, so I might as well just give up and hope for a top 3 finish for Miss Iraheta.
the power poll is all wrong based on the ACTUAL voting. Danny is # 1, Adam is a close 2nd, then comes Lil, followed by Kris, then Anoop, Matt, and lastly, Allison. If you follow the voting results on dialidol.com 9which is VERY accurate), this is what you will find.
Danny is the favorite of everyone I know and speak to. And frankly, I think Mr Lambert’s popularity is hollow and over-inflated thanks to the determined pushing of the homosexual contingent which controls the media.
Dr Zais, sorry but you must not watch every performance because each week Adam’s performances are different. Tracks of My Tears was in a suit with his hair slicked back and he didn’t get off the stool. I agree that Allisono is great but she won’t finish 3rd because she does not have the fan base. Your assessmenr of Adam is WAY off…I HATED what he did to Ring of Fire, but I applaud the guy’s talent, which is head and shoulders above everyone else on that stage.

Ah, Aunt Gokey, such comments of hatred and jealousy. I’m sorry if former front runner Gokey is losing steam. And to think that at one time he actually had a chance to win this thing.

Since the competition is Adam’s to lose this year no matter what, the rankings do not really matter at this point for the runner-ups. Anoop is our favorite for the runner-up. Thanks to all of the push and shove he has gotten from the show so far, it is nice to see him still surviving, from simply being good. Hope he gets as far as he can get.
Adam, Allison, and Matt or Kris. Lil Rounds should go home this week. If she hasn’t found her nitch by now, she’s not going to. I think she has already lost her confidence. Anoop is a nice guy, but boring!!! Gokey is good for the show, but not as the next AI.
Aunt Gokey, if you don’t like the “homosexual contingent” speaking their mind, as is their first-amendment right, you can always leave the country and stop reading these boards.
Besides, apparently Danny isn’t as nice as some would think….they say his (sadly) departed wife was MUCH nicer and that his church has come under intense fire for improprieties (for example, preaching that G-d told the head of the ministry that he should use church funds to buy an Escalade).
Aunt Gokey you really should get out more if the only people you talk to think Danny Gokey is the best Idol has to offer!

I was listening to Adam on I-Tunes Friday and my mom yelled into me from the other room asking who I was listening to. She is not an AI watcher so explained who he is. Her response was not to worry about him because he was clearly going to have a successful career whether he wins Idol or not. I think that pretty much says it.
Adam is spontaneous and entertaining. I’m glad he stuck with theatre. Its really helped him with the comfort zone on stage and his performances are memorable.
