Greetings, Idol fans! Idolatry producer Jason Averett here posting for Michael Slezak, who is leaving early today for a much-deserved long weekend. But before he raced off, your delightful host sat down with badass Kristen Baldwin, and the videotaped results…may shock you. First of all, there’s almost nada on Danny Gokey (!), at least not until part 2 runs on Monday (woot!). There’s also very little Wonder Girl and zero Mechagodzilla (seriously, come back Monday). Ok, that bit about Kara’s crush on Matt? HYSTERICAL. Seeing all those clips in a row was just so damn funny, I hadn’t realized to what extent she was crushing on him.
love me some idolatry. the old school tv clips are highlarious. I will miss scott only for the believe it or not song you use for him. lol. and sorry, slezak, I’ll be shocked if our girl allison makes it to the top 4. I think she’s talented, but her pink haired gizmo looks just aren’t appealing the american public.
I really like Matt, but Kristen is right- he is trying too hard to be another Justin. What I think he should do is try to find a song with a rap in it, because he and Kris were REALLY good on that group video a couple of weeks back when they rapped.
And how cool is it that no one cares about Adam’s sexuality? Hot is hot! Go Mama Sleazak and Mama Baldwin. And I agree- he is gonna be the winner- no one deserves it more.
also loved the cynical, dark and contrived double with simon, godzilla and GOKEY. gokey is as lame as his unfortunate name. and I hear ya on kara, her voice is so annoying. I really hope she doesn’t come back next season.
Jason, you’re great. Thanks for all the wonderful Idolatry videos. And this one was no exception, right down to Slezak’s Mom’s reaction to Adam. (A reminder that not all of us think we’re going to ’score’, but we’re still attracted.)
I agree that Anoop needs a change in his look and he needs to impress everyone next week. He’s got the voice and talent, he has to show those glory notes everyone knows he’s capable of.
But Anoop has a lot working against him – song arrangement that he may not agree with, performance order and the bitchy comments judges often say to him. He never gets credit for anything and America just follow the judges/producers opinions.
I hope he makes to Top 5 at least. A lot of people know he deserves more than that.

I hate to be in agreement with Kara on anything, but I find Matt incredibly hot. If you don’t think a smile looks natural on his face, it’s only because you haven’t been paying attention to him. He’s a sweetie. (and hot…….and straight……)
Michael, please bring back godzilla, but make it GLAM GODZILLADAM since he is definitely on his way to destroy the competition.
When I said that Matt is straight, I mean that he’s more logical for girls to be crushing on him than Adam. No slam on Adam intended at all – he’s awesome.
I totally want a Adam, Kris, and Allison as the 1-2-3 finish! that would be awesome. and I’m glad Kris has built up a solid fanbase that he didn’t even make the bottom 3 after his so-so performance this week.
I appreciate Matt and Anoop more when I listen to their studio recordings, but they bore me on the show. And of course it doesn’t matter what “team” Adam is on since we are not actually going to have sex with him. Lol But he is definitely my fantasy boyfriend this season.
I love Megan! SOMEONE is dark, cynical, and contrived, Kristen, and if it isn’t Scott….hmmmmm.
So obvious that Kara has the hots for Matt. I knew she wanted to bang him since hollywood week. This is how it goes for which Judges like whom:
1)Kara – Matt
2) Paula – Danny
3) Randy – Noop Dawg
4) Simon – Adam
With that being said, i find Matt slowly and subtly growing on me as he comes out of his shell. He actually has star charisma! (Check out the theatre Ford commercial last wed) and his voice definitely can rock! And as for Anoop, LOVE his vocals, his studio recordings are stellar! But as to whether he can win…well, i dunno. Anything can happen on Idol.
