Did anyone notice how Ramsay looked like some kind of Oompa Loompa during that viewer mail segment? That “tan” did not look natural. He looked like he got painted.
Ben SUCKS!!! Why did JP bring Andrea back?! She was almost gone and she’s so annoying! Damn you, JP. I do love this show. If I knew how to cook a Beef Wellington or if I could butter toast “right good like” I would try out for the show. Gordan Ramsey calling full grown people “you donkey!!, which probably means “you jack ass!!”. Anyway…yeah, Ben has GOT to go and he needs to take Andrea with him.
I just read that the next season of Hells Kitchen starts on 7/21/09. That’s a quick turn around, huh? Does anyone know where they film Hells Kitchen. I’m getting the munchies.
To It’s Me:
Where’d you find that tidbit about season 6?
I agree with the posts here that two-thirds of the final six are more comedy than actual chefs. Some I would not consider even adequate cooks. I mean, who serves bloody chicken? – That’s a samonella threat right there, and it isn’t hard to tell when a chicken is cooked through.
I would say it should be a Paula and Danny final two or if one of the others manage to slip in, the one of these two who is in it wins it all.
Seriously – I didn’t like Bonnie from the third season and questioned her cooking skills, but she’s much more qualified than most of these guys. Heck, even Andrew – the one cook who passed out and withdrew due to health issues (stress bothering his heart) was a better cook. I wish Ji were still in it – it speaks VOLUMES when Ramsay let her keep her jacket. No one else – even contestants who had to withdraw – ever got to keep their jacket.
If you google “Hell’s Kitchen July 21″ you’ll get the story about Season 6.
Remember, this current season was filmed back in June 2008. Don’t know why they sat on it so long.
Its no mystery. Originally Fox had a diffrent fall lineup planned, including Hells kitchen (this season)and Dollhouse. But both those shows got pushed back to winter/spring
It’s Paula and Danny in the final two. Ramsey has only ever complained about Paula’s performance during service one time (bad risotto), and I can’t recall him ever complaining about Danny. They both are getting a face time. During the TV Guide photo op, Ramsey said Paula was consistently “perfect”. I’ve been back and forth with Ben, but I think he’s the third chef. He doesn’t perform well during service but he has delivered some good dishes during the challenges. He just needs to talk less about what he does.
Did anyone notice that Robert could barely fit his fat arse in that jet to SF ???? WHEW!!!!!
Haha bet Robert took space of 3 guys. I’m going to miss Gio. Hell’s Kitchen closed? Right (rolls eyes) then why is it back this summer. I’m not watching the show for shocking announcement. I’m watching for so so chefs humiliating themselves. I was happy when Bobby burned his hand. Can’t stand his horrible mouth. Ramsanator is HOT.
Ramsey’s ploy to shock the remaining contestants (I have a hard time calling this compilation of hacks chefs)wasn’t a big surprise. You would think, after this long, that they could finish a service of the same dishes they’ve served all season. One thing I couldn’t fathom was why Ben would trust any of the other “chefs” with his special dish. He missed a chance to shine and left himself open to sabotage by one of the others. Not too smart, but considering the source…
Now, if they come back for another season, here’s an idea: bring in the winners and runners up from Top Chef and lets see how they hold up in the pressure cooker of Hell’s Kitchen with Ramsey holding court. That would be interesting.
Hell’s Kitchen is kind of like boot camp when the Drill Sergeant gets all up in your face. I wouldn’t be able to endure the volume and insults. You would really have to be motivated to stay. Maybe Ramsay must be trying to see the real personalities come out under pressure. I didn’t like what was in Paula’s Bio on Fox website. It said “Paula makes people quit by yelling at them and making them feel like crap” I would not want to work for her. Which one would I want to work for? Maybe Danny. I think he would be a good listener and teacher. I really like Robert. He has the best personality. As a boss I hope he wouldn’t get lazy and delegate, go off to his office, eat, and watch TV. lol He could talk to patrons well. He needs to drop major weight for health reasons. Really! He could go on Biggest Loser. That would be great. I’d watch it! Ben tries hard but is not interesting to me. I think it would be blah to work for him. Robert and Danny are my favorite
all you guy are stupid. and morron. Chef ramsy is really smart andrich man. He will say morron to you must be mine saying too. all his show are god.
so funny! everyone would shocked but it depends on the kitchen. kidding! but this one is good! lol..
so funny! but still so nice kitchen.. shocked! wahaha lol
